TL:DR Drop off unneeded babies in the woods. Got it.

If you want real life then here's the ACTUAL real life for you:

The first recorded evidence of induced abortion is from the Egyptian Ebers Papyrus in 1550 BC.[4]

Silphium.jpg

Silphium (also known as silphion, laserwort, or laser) was a plant that was used in classical antiquity as a seasoning and as a medicine.

There has been some speculation about the connection between silphium and the traditional heart shape (♥).[18] Silver coins from Cyrene of the 6–5th century BCE bear a similar design, sometimes accompanied by a silphium plant and is understood to represent its seed or fruit.[19] Some plants in the family Apiaceae, such as Heracleum sphondylium, have heart-shaped indehiscent mericarps (a type of fruit).

It has been speculated that the plant may also have functioned as a contraceptive, based partly on Pliny's statement that it could be used "to promote the menstrual discharge".[4] Many species in the parsley family have estrogenic properties, and some, such as wild carrot,[15] are reputed abortifacients (chemicals that terminate a pregnancy). Given this, it is quite possible that the plant was pharmacologically active in the prevention or termination of pregnancy.

Contemporary writings help tie silphium to sexuality and love.

330px-Daucus_carota_May_2008-1_edit.jpg

Daucus carota, whose common names include wild carrot....

Extra caution should be used when collecting D. carota because it bears a close resemblance to poison hemlock. In addition, the leaves of the wild carrot may cause phytophotodermatitis,[9] so caution should also be used when handling the plant. It has been used as a method of contraception and an abortifacient for centuries.[10]

There's no good reason to let every baby live.
1) You're collapsing your civilization
&
2) You're bringing a new player into a collapsing civilization

Essentially you're just delaying someone's inevitable's respawn by minutes, where it could have been over in seconds, while also ruining a civilization.
That's the definition of griefing.

If you're having an emotional attachment to dying in video games and you feel like you should only live once like in RL, then IDK what to say. WHY ARE YOU EVEN PLAYING GAMES?

When I kill babies at least I do it fast, I don't torture them in poverty like you.

Uh oh Social Justice is coming, whatever are we going to do.

You should totally make an organisation called "Bully Hunters" and stream OHOL games where you go and hunt the mean bad bullies.

Oh wait...

#5 Re: Main Forum » Guide: how to make a sheep pen » 2018-05-05 08:45:49

Btw I saw a Sheep Pen made from unfinished Kilns today.

I guess it makes sense, as it's much cheaper than normal adobe and doesn't even require steel.
It's not a permanent solution, but it's a cheap and fast solution.

Being unable to distinguish between a video game and real life is alarming. Seek help if you're experiencing this.
In the meantime we need a way to domesticate snakes or to at least be able to eat our own babies like scorpions. Nom nom nom nom.

#7 Re: Main Forum » Bamboozled » 2018-05-05 08:32:59

"Ggwp" it's just the most basic sportsmanship. No need to get salty, it's just a game at the end of the day.

#8 Re: Main Forum » The Problem with "Carrot Seed Guards" » 2018-05-04 23:44:22

There's no point in keeping 1 carrot to get 1 seed and lose one soil.
Someone saying "this is seed row" doesn't make it right to kill people who are plucking the carrot to preserve the soil and who went to get wild seed last time this happened, who also happen to be the last female of the village.
Getting a bow and killing people over "bureaucracy" in a village of 4 is just trolling, there's no administrative overhead in anarchy.
Arguing this activity is positive is delusional, so yes you & the carrot guards do appear to be lying to yourself and/or others.

You can shorten HARE to HK, for Hare Krishna.

#12 Re: Main Forum » The Problem with "Carrot Seed Guards" » 2018-05-04 22:34:11

So you're saying you didn't associate yourself with carrot guards or are you saying you didn't overreact to me having a negative opinion on carrot guards and people who associate with them?

#13 Re: Main Forum » A leson to the "No Boys" civs. » 2018-05-04 22:25:03

TL:DR The kids who scream "NO HONOR" in For Honor when you push them off a ledge came to OHOL.
Proceed to get pushed in a well as babies and scream "NO MOTHER".

I would rather not start talking shit about you in public, though I am capable. I don't know, why you are trying to disparage me?

Blah blah blah, why so defensive? I only made a statement regarding your posts within this particular thread.
You openly support the carrot griefers so I equate you to their closeted griefing methods. It's as simple as that.
If you want to get triggered or take it as a personal offence against your persona, then Idk maybe you have a reason to take offence.
Either way it's not my problem if you're closeted or not, or offended or not.

There is no difference, suicide is suicide. I've read your other post, you're just being a whiny baby. Protesting by suicide, you're just as bad as the griefers that kill people claiming it's also in some sort of protest. All you're doing is annoying other players. If you are unhappy with the game, then do us all a favour and play something else.

The Carrot Guard Sponges and YAHG are just closet griefers.
They like griefing, but don't like admitting to it, so they hide behind convenient masks and are the fist ones to talk down on people who can handle admitting the truth.
They fall within the sub-griefer category and should be handled as such.

It's Grief or be Griefed.

It's dumb statements like that, that make people want to deliberately find you and grief you. And knowing that you can't handle it, please keep going, getting popcorn for the next event.

#19 Re: Main Forum » [Disc] Biomes that you suggest » 2018-05-03 10:52:17

Biomes are nice and all, but it's already hard enough finding a good spot for a village without more RNG put into it, as none of the biomes is self-sufficient and you need all of them nearby.

#20 Re: Main Forum » Trust Dilemma - aka Mariano was not the griefer, killer was. » 2018-05-03 01:17:24

If you kill someone always claim he's the bad guy.... Duh, no shit sherlock.

Never stopped me from killing a killer though. Free kill's a free kill. Saying "liar" usually sells it, even if the murderer isn't a liar.

Then again having a knife and being incapacitated is enough reason for people to want to kill you, I know it's enough for me, so saying whatever might not be worth 1 penny in the end, when a naked with a bow wants that grease.

And there goes that trust dilemma out the window.

#22 Re: Main Forum » How we deal with troubling speech in the forums or discord » 2018-05-02 04:05:45

A game's forum isn't really the place for free speech. Not saying it needs politically biased or ideological censorship, it just needs to be moderated from extreme or otherwise malignant content.
First priority is always unlawful content (for the region where the website resides), or it would just get taken down. Then usually comes spam, ads, scams, viruses, naming and shaming, extreme vulgarity and extreme confrontation.
It's never perfect, but nothing ever is.

Freedom of speech is a more of a - if you write down something on a notepad in your home, you don't get to have a visitor accidentally spot it, report you to the police and get executed for it while having it burned. It's not absolute, it's just tuned up a little bit - let's keep it that way.

#24 Re: Main Forum » Guide: how to make a sheep pen » 2018-04-30 09:55:23

Currently trash pits prevent building on top of them, so should make multiples around the entrance or maybe even inside to make griefing it (by blocking it) much harder, not just to prevent sheep escaping.

With stone walls and trash pits, it's possible to make a very difficult to grief permanent sheep pen. The more entrances the harder it is it seal off.

A possible design that's scalable, starts small and grows could be to start from a unfilled trash pit pen, which is then surrounded by stone walls. Doesn't really matter if the trash pits are filled before or after, though obviously it will cause downtime if they are filled while it's only a trash pit pen. Only problem is that additional trash pits may alter the design, as you can't build on top of them. Also design of the stone walls won't follow the design of the unfilled trash pit walls, as you won't be able to build on top of em, it will have to encircle it.
