Haha, did baby boy Rage finally finish figuring out how to send his letter?
Was reading through changelogs and happened upon this after being gone a few months.
Hope their dick flexing didn't waste too much of your time.

Jason give us a once per life I need to shit button. No hunger for 4 minutes.

Imagine the famines I could avoid during my shitting session.

Is it really illegal to smoke/drink underage within a game or is it just illegal to depict underage smoking/drinking?

If it's the latter then making these items only useable once your character is 18+ should be fine.

Haha.  I love it.

Temperature shock.
Your temp will slam to extremes when entering and exiting a desert or snow tiles.  Also it stays in the extreme temp zones after leaving before returning to normal from shock.

I tried a nomadic Eve run the other day.

Instead of finding a camp spot and settling down for the long haul, I held the first baby that was born to me and we went seal hunting together.   After I had that baby and myself clothed, I had another baby.  So I hunted a seal hide for that one too.    The first kid grew hair, so I moved my two kids toward the swamp, continuing to feed both of them until the second baby grew hair.   Then I brought them over to a berry bush and said my goodbyes.   It was a decent spot, so there was a chance they could make it there.  My son had already started to gather fire-making tools and his sister was gathering branches.

I headed north, across a wide expanse of badlands, searching for another grassland.   I had another baby along the way and kept going.   I found a prairie and ate carrots until I reached the next green space.  Sadly, I didn't find anymore seals, but I did come across another large expanse of green.   I left another clutch of babies in this area.  Two boys and one girl, this time.  The boys were new, but the girl seemed to know what she was doing.   I wished them luck and headed to the east.

I almost died crossing a wide tundra (still no seals), followed by an even larger swamp.  But managed to reach green again.   This time I had three girls.  All of them were new, from what I could tell.   They were pretty much doomed and I was pretty close to forty, so I found an area with lots of berry bushes and taught my daughters what I could before they were too big to pick up anymore.    They all died within a few minutes, but I think they learned a little bit about setting up a basic camp before the end.   At this point, I was over forty, so no more babies incoming.  It was time to check on my seed colonies.

I headed back across the swamp and tundra to the spot where I left three kids.   Sadly, they didn't make it, but they had managed to make fire-making tools before the end.    After that, I went a little north and hunted rabbits in the prairie for a while.   I made a fire to cook the rabbits and then made myself a stylish backpack/loincloth combo.   I filled my pack and basket with tools and rabbits, then re-traced my steps back to my first baby drop spot.   I found evidence of recent activity, but couldn't find the camp.   My lineage tracker indicated there was a living girl child somewhere, but sadly, I never found them.   I ended up living out the rest of my life alone, munching on cooked rabbits.    Checking back on my lineage, my first two children lived into their fifties and Mary Winchester has nine children, one of whom lived to 59 years old ... but sadly, none of the girls made it to adulthood so the line died out at the third generation.

It pleases me to know that my line lived on past my death although I'm sad that I couldn't find the settlement in my twilight years.  It would have been an exciting reunion and the rabbits I was carrying may have helped.

This sounds like a great idea.  If you can spread your seed into a bunch of areas decent areas you could hopefully lessen overpopulation in the future.

Every living girl would be a conduit to accept overloads of players joining the server.  This would baby output of their sisters reduces and spread cosumption over a large area.

Do milkweed & onions/ burdock respawn in areas with ruins?

I only ask because I've found in tact eve ruins with off amounts of these resources in the area.

I sat in the middle of a village with a baby mouflon in hand.  Told my 8 dependents to make me a Berry carrot bowl.

It took 10 minutes of asking these Berry munching shits to grab the carrots I grew & picked and shove it into a Berry bowl with our newly grown Berrys.

Town criers cry your heart's out.

Yes, I do games from that time period.  I'm 39, and played video games as a child.  I still think that heating the jungle to the degree it has gotten heated as not warranted, and elitist channeling people into a way of playing a game with clothes (and clothes STILL come as dangerous if you get bit by mosquitoes).  Have you ever pinned a dozen or so mosquitoes down to a corner and then entombed them using the old game mechanics?  If you haven't, maybe you haven't experienced some challenge that use to make sense in the game.  But now, doing such doesn't make much sense.  See what the change in mechanics did?  They made it so that one challenge didn't make any sense to tackle anymore.

Also, it is NOT difficult for an Eve camp to survive.  Just go on a low population server, don't take children and Eve chain.  So, no, there is no 'should' here.  Not on all public servers.

Just FYI.  As long as your not stuck in the jungle biome, you can survive fully clothed a misquito bite with 1 pip left.

But the reason for building structures hasn't changed, that remains the same.  Structures always provided insulation, they always required the doors to be closed to do so.  Like you say, the cost of making them wasn't worth the reward.  So instead of making them more rewarding and balanced, he has made everything else more harsh.

If what you say holds any truth then why release a half baked system that doesn't have the content to back it up?  This surely doesn't seem logical to do this on the live game servers, forcing every player that uses the official servers to just live with it till it gets better.  People don't hang around for long, most don't reach out and continue to follow the situation, they just move on to another game.

He needs to see how the system holds up before making recipe alterations & temp tweaks.  We never had an environment like we have now after the update. We can wait a few weeks of giving data to him.

Honestly though I am having 0 problems with the update.  Getting cloths is now more rewarding and aside from mountains of bones blocking out the sun, the villages I am born into seem to live on pretty well.

You should fear all the greivers who are going to destroy this game and your gaming experience over being pissed off about paying 20 dollars for a bullshit game. So basically what should be done in any early access phase?  Some people didn't get this game to constantly have to re-learn the meta to keep the elitists happy.  Its not like this game is played by thousands of people, with a wealth of knowledge.

There is parts of the tech trees that could literally be considered griefing if you built or farmed them.  Pine walls, 1/3 of the walls we can build is a good example.  Something that is so obviously broken.  This update does not provide any more motivation to build that tier of structure. With even more need for milkweed to be used wisely it has even less place than it did before.

I made a post a while back requesting this update.
All balance was useless until now.  This needed to happen & balancing for it will come, making things less "elitist".

Glad he just threw it in first with no balancing.  He can take in statistics as he develops for some quick tweaking

Jason I wish you would give us the ability to stamp signs with wet dyed letters .   Cuts down on letter spam, but makes signs typing not so frustrating.

People always like to settle in areas with soil, water, and hopefully a warm temperature boime.  These optimal arrangements are relatively rare.
I always thought they would be good areas to check for during world generation and to put a trade resource that has to be milked with interaction every 15 minutes or so, along with some mid game machinery to operate it.

Where did you get 30?
EDIT: Just remembered this post was about eeves who of course spawn with like 10 years already on them.

Never mind
