1. Wine glasses are blown wrong way . First you make bulb and then you make foot from another piece of melted glass. (Feet should be on opposite side)

2.Why bowl of whipped cream has 8 uses? is it intended?

I just want to say that i like new life filling time.

And maybe this post in pointless, but this is first change i like since i started playing.
And i just couldnt stop myself to say something nice, instead of complaning about this game, I bet it wont happen soon.

Question is if this feature can be better?

#4 Re: Main Forum » PSA: You need to hold SHIFT and right-click to KILL now » 2019-05-24 16:42:16

Can we ability to hold shift and click to destroy objects?

#5 Re: Main Forum » If fences are not viable, what does that mean? » 2019-05-18 17:07:44

Cox

EVERY object in game should be destroyable. This shouldnt be easy, should take time/effort/cooperation of people, but it should be possible.
Maybe some special button which allows you to destroy stuff, but you will stuck in place, you will lost some hunger and everyone can see destroying animation so they can stop you before item is destroyed.

I guess half of you wont agree with me, but we need this, much less blocking situations/ bug abuse will happend in future updates.
And yes this can be used to troll, but can be used for antitroll also (look blocking springs).

Most in this game use "OH" new child was born people say "OH" something when wrong people say "OH" too. Jason you are not allowed to use such sophisticated words... smile

Im not sure if this is the solution, but Eves should appear near natural springs with higher probability if it is spring which never spawned Eve and lower if it spawned twice even more lower if it spawned three times and so on.
You have list of all natural spring who already produced Eve.
First roll ( lets say 80% if noone spawned here and 20% if somone spawned here, dimnished  even more when somespawned there even more times)
Lets say it chooses for you place where eve already spawned 3 times  and you get random spring from list mentioned above.
Listed locations can be removed from list after long time.

Im not programmer i dont know if it is even possible.
Point out some patology if you see in my thinking.

Edit: some player activity in nearby areas can be tied to this.

Yes. and even more this.

However, reducing our need for the grassland biome isn't possible without some major changes in spawning locations for a lot of necessary items [milkweed, the assorted branch trees, early foods+seeds, saplings, soil]. So simple solution is just to push springs to only spawn in these biomes. Give every spring at least a decent chance at being viable this way, instead of the foolish notion of forcing people to spawn in unviable locations time and time again thinking it'll improve gameplay.

That is nice, if enviroment backs to natural state also (i mean wild onions appear ans so on). It is fully playable place for new Eves. Thanks for answers.

Let's say there is no player activity in particular area for few days. What is happening with structures created there?

Do they despawn?
Does enviroment back to natural state?

Im curious if there is any reason to back previously populated areas.

I couldnt find any answers for these questions. Share your knowledge with me.

I had been trying to play Eve after new hotfix, so i mashed /DIE command and this is my result.

I spawned as Eve seven out of eight times in EXACTLY same spot. Maybe it is made intentionally, but this spot sucks, all bananas nearby are eaten, some resources are deplted and there are skeletons everywhere. You must run far away from this place to start build something.

So, today i was able to back to my previous town just by going north-west and i happened to me 4 times.
Am i just lucky or new Eves are mostly placed south-east?

Collumn L is for my note about additional item/tool except crops. Most of the people use comma for decimal numbers, you farenheit users wink

You are both right, potates dont use shovel, and mango takes full bucket of water instead of bowl. will fix
This table wasnt made to discourage people for having yum bonus just to show water/steel efficiency.
And tools used for starting getting food isnt calculated too ( no shears usage for aquiring mango saplings, spoons for icecreams, buckets for milk too)

#17 Main Forum » What i hate in this game? (concerning non-destroyables) » 2019-05-14 15:15:49

So this is not real hate. Its rather not healty and funny in some cases, i hope you enjoy it smile I want to put non-destroyables in three categories:

Category 1 (why the hell this cant be deconstructed?): This category include Loom and Newcomen Engine. I guess that loom isnt the most durable item in human history, but this game doesnt allow you you destroy it or deconstruct into parts. When someone build it you cant place floor under it or move into some building, it will last for 20 new generations or more. Newcomen engine is even worse. Ironically you cant deconstruct it but you can do it for Newcomen well. Have you ever been blocked becouse someone built newcomen in wall gap for door. It is quite efficient only few stones and branches smile

Category 2 (locked stuff): Locked sign, chests, and doors. Those require some new ideas how to remove it without abusing someone privacy, but stop people to lock stuff just for troll. Maybe mechanic which require lets say cooperation of 5 people can unlock it (some effort metter).

Category 3 (stone wall) Yes i know these can be destroyed but it cost A LOT. Using pickaxe for some stupid placed walls isnt worth it and discourage me to play in this particular village.  We will need to destroy them anyway in future (or you prefer to sit in stone buildings in having modern technology). Maybe solution from category 2 is solution idk.

All in all i expect to make some of these objects destroyable. Maybe Jason will invent his own mechanic how to remove durable objects, I dont want to point how to do make it.

Any toughts? Is there something suprising how good or bad particular food is?

I can try to answer questions about calculations in comments below, (i could make some mistakes).

Twisted, I thought about an object that you can't walk with (like the fishing pole, which prevents you from walking away while fishing).

That's possible with the sounding rod, and then you could only set it down nearby.  Problem comes if the area around the well is cluttered, and you have nowhere to drop it.

Another problem:  a chain of people (even one person, working alone and leap-frogging), could transport the pole like a relay race.  I drop it at X, then go over to X+1 and grab it, and drop it at X+2, then go to X+3 and grab it, and drop it at X+4, etc.

Would it be possible to make the tile next to the well a container that can ONLY contain the sounding rod? The sounding rod would only be storable in that container, you couldn't even drop it on the floor (unless you die holding it, but make the carry speed something silly low like 1% and it can still be returnable in that case. Probably not, huh?

Trousers have a pocket where you can hold item like knife. Let's say that wells can have own pocket for rod. You can can click the rod, oparte it, wait for animation to end and return it to the pocket automatically. IDK maybe its bad idea.
