I usually play maybe at least once a month to try out some of pein's and Tarr's designs they posts. I remember the old days of Jordium antics and Aurora being Aurora.
Just put a cooldown timer for when you are allowed to respawn that increases each time you /die or die before reaching 60. The longer you live the less of a cooldown to respawn, you can also do it in increments up to the age of 60.
When ever you reach 60 it should give you a grace period or reset your cooldown. The respawn cooldown should also only take into effect if you are fed, that way kids that are abandoned dont get the cooldown. To stop run away babies just give babies a slow debuff upon being born so mothers have a chance to either pickup or abandon.

Mods should just ban him. Hes using the forums to gloat and make himself feel better about stream sniping. If you want to grief towns go ahead. But targeting an individual over countless days just to ruin there experience is over the top.
I think the main reason we don't see war/trade/family ties is because of how short 1 hour is. We are living like flies. I know 1 hour one life is the primary design of the game, but the idea of these social ideas are intriguing but cant happen when death has no meaning. Only way I can imagine the game having these aspects is if losing someone had an impact.
A longer life span allows you to actually care for the village and develop bonds. Building houses would become immensely important so you can keep out would be murderers and thieves when your offline/sleeping. How cool would it be to login/wake up the next irl day to find out that your daughter/son that you have been raising and playing with over the past couple of days was murdered by a nearby tribe that raided the town. Most people would go out to find the the cause because you developed a bond with that unknown person and now their gone. Right now in game we just don't have the time to deal with these issues and death is meaningless. Connections and bonds is what this game is missing.
For the game to have the social depth that you want the game itself would have to fundamentally changed.
Only lesson learned here is that locks are still worthless and only provides an annoyance to the game. But this is a topic that has been talked about many times on the forums here.

Highly doubt he would withhold content just to force a feature in the game to be used. Maybe its not content related but a road map of whats to come.
All I ask for is to buff fishing. But if we are making suggestions bacon and beef would be nice. Knife plus pork could give you a strip of bacon, just like corn seeds it could be repeatable for a certain amount of times. Also allow us to make jerky out of bear meat, wolf meat, and seal. An all round hunting update would be great.

Dont know if you were around when the first apocalypse update happen, but it was horrible. Wipes were happening multiple times a day until Jason disabled it. With the time limit on this one without a doubt we will have one wipe every 1-2 days. Most likely by one person or group being persistent just like the last time this update happened.

Considering how useless rail carts have become seems like cars will also follow the same trend. Cars and rail carts would of been great in the past when we had multiple large cities next to each other. Its been a very long time since we had multiple neighboring cities. I know the future of the game is exciting but there are many things in the past that could use more uses. Like bear and wolf meat, eating cooked pork and beef, penguins, dogs, seals, and cows with a plow for farming. The primary use for a car right now is to simply to get far away iron because iron was nerfed.
Lol I didnt know breeding dogs was considered griefing. But anyway most of us are not obivious to griefers, its just that we dont want to waste our time dealing with them repeatedly anymore. There is just so many of them its gotten to the point that deal with one and 4 more pop up. The worst are the ones that take and hide tools now that iron is scarce. The only form of fun that I find that is ungriefable is using my knowledge to teach someone new what ever they want.

I find wild goose eggs to be fine. Since the pond can be used up and made into wells while banana trees can not. The problem with bananas is that the risk is low compared to the reward. Maybe allowing boars to spawn in the jungle will balance it out.
I rather have more dangers in the jungle then less benefits. Jungles should have an abundance of resources which in turn leads to an abundance of dangers also. Make it so if you are lucky or smart enough to get pass all the dangers, the jungle would be like the garden of Eden. On a side note an interesting animal to add in are boa constrictors, they could require two people to take off and you move slow while it constricts you?
Yea lets increase the iron back up. Just trying to teach someone new how to smith is near impossible. When I heard something was going to be decreased I thought it would be the crazy amount of snakes and boars.

I'm surprised witch hunting topics are even allowed on the forum. Considering the players in the game are anonymous and cant be traced. Witch hunting is pointless and just a way to single people out for no reason.
The game dosent have much of a road map. But Jason has stated that he will work on the game for 2 years from March 2018 and will release something each week if I remember correctly. If you want to know what he is working on that current week the discord is a good place to look. Also check the news forum that is were he post each update and gives details.

I lost the crown you gave me when my daughter Jasmine refused to accept leadership, some little girl picked it up when i tried to give it to Jasmine. But I will admit it wasn't Jasmines fault completely I was a bad parent but a good Queen. I abandoned my son to some old lady that wanted him I even let her pick his name she choose the name King. Then I named Fionna next in line for the crown after Jasmine since I didn't expect Jasmine to live long. Jasmine took that as a threat and stated that I loved Fionna more I told her we needed to keep the crown in the family nothing personal. The town needed a leader after me since babies were everywhere, Jasmine failed to rise to her royal status probably dooming the town to over population.
To Jasmine: If I had more time to live I would still try to convince you to be the Queen.
