Oh nice, turns out the bow Mason used was also the bow I used, and then in turn the bow used to kill me. That bow has seen rough times lol.
I managed to get three, however one was an infant, I don't count those. Also, that was a very nice shot. I like having a challenge occasionally lol. No hard feelings anyway, I only target families who have lost their surnames. A family without a surname is a shame. However, I managed to fail this one due to your skill with the bow.
Totally agree on all of these points, horses have proven to be effectively useless, except as storage due to the fact that carts apparently don't decay when attached to horses. We have had horses for a while now, and they are rarely used as intended, Jason definitely needs to fix this.
However, regarding the fence kit via cart issue, you can place two straight shafts in the cart, plus your adze and shovel if I remember correctly, stone can go in your bag obviously. It is possible to go about creating fences quickly, but it really shouldn't be necessary in my opinion.
At this point Jason just wasted his time making these things overall. Their only use (undecaying carts) was unintended by Jason, which he will probably fix anyway.
Yeah, "Lol" is fine, and I take "Lmao" to simply be a higher intensity of "Lol", but all of these odd faces sort of bother me. I'm pretty open-minded though. =^.^= 0.0 OwO
Lol a car accident Llama, brilliant. Love the idea by the way, not entirely sure if I'll be able to participate myself, however I'd like to see plenty of people join in so I can look through the art styles. And of course this is great for modders like Sam.
The Holy Berry Bush or Berrislam, obviously.
I truly hope Jason chooses to implement this idea, it's one of the best introduced. It makes the players who want to continue their legacy happy, while keeping the idea of spawning randomly alive as well. If you live a good life you get the reward of spawning back into your family.
Alongside these points, I feel this will help with the mundane feeling of teaching countless new players repeatedly, these players die and are replaced with more players that have no idea what they're doing. However, if you teach players and they can choose to come pack to continue this legacy that problem is somewhat solved. You now have more experienced players to help, and they can help to teach more new players as they flow in. There is finally some incentive to tirelessly teaching for us (((pro))) players. We can see the progress of our teaching careers unfold first hand. Seeing one player live to old age repeatedly is one heck of a reward for a teacher bringing up new players.
Jason placed a lot of importance on the whole "teaching" aspect of the game, which has proven extremely tiring for me personally at least, give us this so we can enjoy teaching.
I must admit, although being an avid berrislamist, this "mushroom god" is a truly powerful one, I have never before seen such power.
The Holy Berry Bush spreads the true faith through peaceful enlightenment, it does not command mindless drones to do its bidding, it grants its followers with the gift of life when all other sustenance is lost. There will always be berries, even when all else fails.
The self proclaimed cactus god, though not a god at all, rules through fear and oppression, just like the Carrotists. Any religion that need enforce belief upon its people is not a true religion at all.
The truth is this, even if the cactus god did require water, no one would water it. The cactus God is false and unnecessary. Be gone with your lies and oppression.
The Cactus God is false as well, its fruit may be powerful, but it comes from the land of danger noodles, you see, the cactus god is a trick, a lure, it drags us into the grasps of the many slither boys. Do not fall for this trick my friends, the Holy Berry Bush is all powerful, and purely good.
This religion is even more pathetic than Carroticism, I've never seen a spider in my many lives! Your religion is nothing but fear mongering.
The Holy Berry Bush is merciful and infinitely understanding.
This game is a long term social experiment, censoring people negates the point here I think.
Maybe this is a life lesson, people aren't always going to be rainbows and sunshine in life, so learn to be less sensitive.
This exact same scenario happened in a village I was in tonight, guy comes through with a shovel and wipes the berry field out, then runs away with a person chasing them with a bow, maybe we're all from the same village lol. Berry field had a wooden path through it and my name was Eve Dover.
Anyway, regarding the topic, there really isn't much to do, some people are going to go around being dicks for fun, just how that works. A report feature wouldn't help the situation, especially since the game has a single staff member lol. Just try thinking of it as part of the game, in early civilizations there was constant war and crime, so just think of it like that. We must adapt.
If you're running Win10, I suggest reinstalling once more, install to documents, then move the file to either Downloads or your Desktop. It's a common problem, happens to me every time I reinstall, I've noticed that it switches up as well, sometimes the game will run in my Program Files, sometimes it won't. Probably depends on the version of the game or something. Anyway, hope this helps. The game is worth the effort.
You're using Windows 10?
Lol well this thread didn't turn out as planned apparently, but I'll leave my one recommendation anyway..
Ben Dover
One Eve must take on the responsibility of beginning the Dover line, and every child from that point on shall he named Ben, whether male or female.
Long live the Dover clan!
So I got the same issue, extracted the game, moved to "Program Files", launched game, "Update Failed, read-only blah blah", so I went back to files, moved the game file to "Program Files (x86), launched again, problem fixed. Hope that helps.
Respect the Holy Berry Bush. It is the only true deity.
Hey, if you contact the developer directly via email you may be able to arrange payment. I remember one guy was attempting to pay via Bitcoin and got it worked out with Jason, so you can try talking to him.
Also, praise the Holy Berry Bush, down with the false carrot god.
TyrantNomad, TheLimeyDragon, Commoners, Rodrik.
This is easily the best story I've seen on here.
Had the same problem and found a solution after a couple hours. Take the OneLife_v58 file and copy it, then go to program files and paste it. Edit because I was mistaken about just moving SDL, checked and I moved the whole file and it worked.
