My take on the new Corn update.

First of all I will give you my opinion, then I will tell you why my opinion is the way it is.

The corn update is GREAT and well needed

Here's why:

1: The seeding process stops griefers picking the "seed row" (you use flint on dry corn to get a seed, multiple seeds per dry corn)

2: Popcorn allowed me to stop and teach people how to produce corn in the farm, seed the corn, and cook into popcorn. As it's very sustainable. It's also a great introduction to preparing recipes for food to beginners.

3: I didn't feel like I was in a mad rush all the time, and the community I was in didn't feel rushed either. One of my cousins was running around selling shrooms to everybody and we were all having a good laugh with it too. (because of popcorn)

4: It brought back the community feeling inside your village/town, because everyone was teaching everyone all the basic and advanced techniques.

Overall I think this update has done a great positive to the game and has definitely made me feel like it is heading into the right direction.. Thank you Jason, that had to have been one of my most memorable lives in this game, and meaningful ones at it to. Left that life very content.

Oh my god, I was the shroom dealer! Also I completely agree with everything you said. Everything was very relaxed and didn't have the same rushed feeling it did in the past. Food was very sustainable because of the new popcorn, and now it feels like you can do more of the things that you want to in the short life that you have in this game. Overall, amazing update.

You literally made my day running around with your cart full of shrooms.

Heyyyyyy I was Mason! We definitely had a pretty awesome group. Running around selling shroom was hilarious. I definitely agree tho, I could pretty much do what I wanted (smithing, catching a horse, etc) and not have to worry about food at all

Mason! I took good care of your knife and gave it to my trusted son Michael when I died.

Re: My take on the new Corn update.

I loved this life. I killed my big sister (she wanted to try and get me to kill people with her so I spent 24 years building a bow to take her down). Then I built a bunch of useful stuff for the town. Plus there were just tons of memorable people and moments. Definitely agree this update is a step in the right direction.

This life was definitely one of my favorites to date. Also my mother named me after our sister Lilly after you killed her. I now know that I was named after an aspiring serial killer haha. It was unfortunate that Michael died, lets hope that the knife he had got into the right hands.

Oh nice, turns out the bow Mason used was also the bow I used, and then in turn the bow used to kill me. That bow has seen rough times lol.

Re: My take on the new Corn update.

I was in a town that was a complete and horrible disorganized mess, but everyone seemed to be doing okay. Everyone did seem more relaxed and there was plenty of popcorn, and many bushes to keep everyone fed. Didn't need 20 rows of carrots, just 4 rows of corn at a time was fine. While letting it dry out plant some more and snack on some berries when you need to.
