Surely now with curses the way they are, being able to solo kill wouldn't be so much of an issue anyway, as those who did it too often would just get banished.
I definitely miss the dramatic lives you could get when killing was still a thing. Almost all of my most remembered lives are from some killing-related betrayal or murder mystery or an unexpected raid. I miss the early(ish) months of this game. Even the sword update was fun for a little while, it certainly added tension.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this. I've barely played the last few months and when I do, it's usually just the one life, whereas I used to play hours at a time.
I've never griefed myself, but I used to love trying to combat other griefers and figure out who the killer was when bodies started appearing, it added some excitement. Now lives are almost always completely monotonous, just the usual farming and smithing and cooking.
I don't feel nearly as connected to family members as I used to back when the game first came out and for quite a few months after. The game's just become dull.

Lol, I just spawned inside the gate of the lynns as eve and after everything I did for them. They brutally murdered me and praised the killer.
Well at least they're defending themselves
Hiya lambert, I was the niece! Marta died just before me, both of old age.

is there a delay in the genes screen?
I died a few minutes ago and my son and daughter show up on the genes screen, but I can't find myself. I can find my other lives and some of their children, even an ancestor in the same and his nieces, but that 60 year old woman I just played at won't show up.
That's happened with me twice now. My kids and grandkids are all there - just not me
a high yum affects your hunger bar, that should be enough to carry you to a long life, which increases your score.
The score is only affected by your life, your children/nephew and nieces, and their children, right? It stops after two generations.
After my eve run earlier, it only took into account my children and the one granddaughter I was still alive to see. The ones that came after I died never appeared on my score list.
Hi son, if you're reading this.
Just wanted to let you know I followed the bell back in my next life, but I was too late to see you again . I buried you next to me (thanks for my grave, it made me really happy).
Bellina - if you're reading this, you did an awesome job with the kids, I saw several girls running around while I was there again.
Bringing them some steel usually works well for me
Just checking...
Yes please!
Dave Queen got me too T_T
It was the weird blonde one and another one she talked into it. And we were doing so well T_T
Yes was skint
Plype skia - Thank you

If you write one word down on paper and get them to read it, the word that comes up is their spelling of the word
Yan? You were one of my favorite sons
Hi Ma . Two of the younger Earthman daughters stabbed me shortly after you died. Not sure why
I was Eve Chan's son, and we started making a dictionary that translates certain words
If you write one word down on paper and get them to read it, the word that comes up is their spelling of the word
Ah ok! That makes sense, thanks . It was starting to creep me out tbh
This has happened several times. At first I thought it was just crazy good timing, but it happens pretty often;
I like exploring when things in town are too routine/boring, and I occasionally stumble across old towns/cities. Most of the time these towns look pretty old - everything's in ruins, all skeletons are half-decayed etc. But there's almost always a fire still going, and it dies down into hot coals about 30 seconds after I come across it, almost every time. Does this happen to other people too, or am I going mad?
Loving this update so far
Yay, I made the list
I like all of those suggestions. The game's become a bit stale for me recently, this would certainly liven it up again. I've always preferred the social aspects of the game than all the crafting/tech stuff. This would add an interesting dynamic for sure.
