Crafting is a little difficult as first. Even with the helper on the right side its still a little confusing.
This game creates a cool sense of tribe and family. When the young are born they are cared for and are naturally assigned a job in the group. When you become middle aged you will basically do one thing that your parents did. If your parents were farmers you will probably take over their farming. I was born to the villages Eve so I took over tending the fire and farms.
Th ings I like about this game:
- The stories it can create
- The people you will 'meet'
- When you figure something out it feels great
Things I don't like:
- PvP is a joke, 1 shot kill with no warning, no animation or sound
- Villages don't last past a few generations because the structure begins to break down
- Not really enough content right now. Most tribes just end up as carrot farmers climbing a tech tree. Once you get to the top not much to do.
- Servers only have max 40 people on them so its not really as large as I'd like.
- Too early access. I would recommend waiting a little bit. Game is very similar to Don't Starve so it will probably take a bit to get really interesting.
Summary: Cool game, hard learning curve, interesting concept, similar to Don't Starve, has some problems, maybe wait for awhile before getting. |
