Great game!
It has an extremely deep and compelling crafting tree. The survival gameplay is challenging and unforgiving. The game's aesthetic is simple and appealing thanks to cartoony graphics, a capella sound effects, and soulful piano music.
Beyond that, the gameplay mechanics of family, birth, and civilization are fresh and actually give rise to deep and powerful themes of life and death, motherhood and childhood, meaning and legacy, permanence and transience, tribes and relationships, good and evil, resource management and sustainability.
< br>This level of depth is rare for a video game, and is made even more impressive due to the lone independent developer, who is extremely devoted, attentive, and involved with the community.
