The YouTube video on the site sold me on this being an interesting civilization building experiment but the simulation is brutal enough for me to leave out of frustration. It has potential but after multiple attempts of play and immediate deaths I never got found the fun in the simulation. It seemed more of a chore to keep eating than being able to explore, build, or participate in other ways.
I have hope the game keeps receiving tweaks, especially for the new player on-boarding, as there is a lot of potential. I'm feeling the $20 sunk cost enough that I feel compelled to giving it another spin. Hopefully in a future play session I'll have a better experience. |
