Here's a description of the first few lives I've lived in "One Hour One Life".

---

- I was abandoned by an apathetic mother.

- A mother cared for me best she could, but because I didn't cry, I starved to death when she didn't realize I was hungry.

- A mother was clearly trying to forage for food when I popped out. She said aloud to me: "Not enough food". I could only reply in single syllables. She breast-fed me when she could. When I could walk, she said "Follow", but she walked too fast and I lost her and died in the woods.

- A mother just held me until I was old enough to forage for berries and she said: "You're on your own". I was maybe six at the time.

I found a society that mostly subsisted on carrot agriculture. An old woman repeatedly yells: "Don't pick the carrots let them overgrow". They harvest the seeds from overgrown carrots and plant more. I ask how I can help but the society is busy. I steal a basket full of carrots and wander off to explore.

I find an area full of gooseberry bushes which can sustain me for a while. I explore around my gooseberry bowl, until a man with a bowl I've never seen before harvests the bushes completely and runs off back to the carrot society.

A different older woman is there now: "Water the goddamned carrots". I call her 'me-ma' and she asks if I want to learn how to make bowls. She gives an explanation I can't understand or recreate, and then goes to eat a carrot. I water the carrots for a bit and roam, but start to wonder if there's more to life. I wander south, living off the berries in the bush I find along the way, but eventually I wonder how me-ma's doing.

I wander back and I can't find her anywhere in society. A young blonde woman is gathering water and I say: "I think grandma's dead" and she stops for a moment to type: "NOOOOOOOOOO". We give a brief moment, but she has errands she needs to tend to.

I wander north and there's not many berries along this path. The color of the soil makes me think water is nearby, but that doesn't help much. I wonder if me-ma's soul was in the baby that was born into society shortly after the blonde woman screamed "NOOOOOOOOOO". I wonder among all the people born, how many get to be a part of the carrot society I saw, and how many die in the bush like my first few incarnations. Do most of them wind up in a society that can sustain itself? Probably, eventually.

I find some pine needles in a colorful tree, but I am alone and a wolf quickly attacks me and I die at the age of 30.
