Ok, so... I rarely review games, there's plenty of reviewers out there that can do it better than me, but this time I had to do it. I saw this game on youtube and I fell in love with it: the concept is BRILLIANT but also, the "hidden" philosophy behind this (you know, the harshness, the shortness, the meaning of human life, that stuff), the in-depth crafting, that signature from primitive survival, and the fking comedy! oh that sad sad moment when you are dying of old age in a well being village, your kids are there working and saying "bye" to you, the sad music plays........ And then you just die horribly crumbling in an instant into a pile of bones! and a second after that you are born again and you hear your crying. ahah idk it makes me laugh. But also makes me think about death. Maybe it's like this in real life too, or maybe life is just an overly complicated videogame... Who am I to judge?

Anyway I love the game. I learned quite a lot in my lives, first farming then watering, forging iron building carts, composting, making tools etc. but I've always been a worker and that was fine. But last time I played happened something remarkable: First I was a man in a small village and really contributed making it better, I made some tools and built lots of carts while the farmers did a good job keeping me alive. Then I died. After some lives I was born again and I was the last child of a woman in the same village and I was the last girl there. I was happy to see that the village flourished in the meantime. So my ma and an old woman were informing me of the situation and chatting about me, saying "this is our future" or "I'm gonna raise her royally" or "she's gonna be our princess". Then they put me into a room filled with bearskins, lightened a fire , brought carts of wood and carrots and told me I had to be the nurse. But they died and I had my kids as planned, the village went on and people kept bringing me wood and food. I taught my kids lots of stuff and rose them well. Then I got old, worked a bit, returned to the village, said bye to everyone, they thanked me... and I crumbled in a pile of bones.

What a life that was! I hope the village is fine.
So, this game really hits me in the right spots.

Obviou sly there are some problems and stuff I don't get. For example, why can I store clay or adobe in a basket, but not reeds (adobe is clay+reeds), or why can I store iron and wrought iron but not the ball of iron... Also I think there should be more ways to dispose of stuff: I might want to remove a kiln, or I might want to reuse the rope of a bowdrill, or remove the head from a tool to reforge it, or just get rid of some shit, in fact I think more stuff should be burnable, addable to a fire because it's logical to use old tools that aren't needed anymore if you are in a lack of wood; For example skewers, tongs , bowdrills, and a lot of other stuff. Also, why can I cut reeds with a sharpstone but not with a stone or steel axe (can I use a knife?), idk, I think it's stupid not being able to cut some reeds because you cant find a sharpstone among all kinds of tools and advanced equipment... I really appreciated today's update (now we can directly substitute items in baskets or carts from the hand) that fixed some problems like not being able to pick up food from a basket due to lack of space or time.

Anyway thanks Jason for this (I think) piece of videogames history, I really hope people get this right and do not screw it up, and that you will be able to bring more and more updates. I'm eagerly waiting for more advanced technology.

T hat's it, sorry if I made mistakes in my English or chose words badly, i'm form italy, bye
