Love this game! It's so weird and brutal... But it also makes you reflect on real life. Basically, you start out trying to improve your own situation, get enough to eat, get a good food supply... As a baby you're purely selfish. But as you get older, you're going to die anyway, and you just want to contribute to the community. You can be selfish, steal, destroy things... but it doesn't go anywhere. Building and making things that other people can use after you've gone is the most rewarding thing to do, and it becomes obvious after you've lived and died a few times. But... of course this is only possible in a video game. I wonder if this paradox is what prompted Jason to create it? Anyway, having a great time with it so far. |
