Absolutely love this game. I cannot wait for Jason to add more content! I love how the world, community, and gameplay evolves over time and it makes me happy that I got on the wagon so early!
I've never played a game where people are so sweet and caring. It just seems natural to treat your children like you really, really care about them. I have lots of disagreements with people, but I've also gotten sincere "I love yous" and "Thank yous" which I've never received in an online game before. This game makes amazing stories, it can break your heart, it can show you how to move on, it can make you put so much effort and energy into something with the pure intention of passing it on to someone else rather than reaping the true benefits yourself. Never before have I given something so much care and work all the while knowing that It's not for me.
It puts a lot of great things into perspective too. How children are the future, how in a primitive world everyone is a little bit more caring and opinions are disregarded, and how to make the most of every second. Every single hour is a unique experience that I share with my parents, children, siblings, and fellow villagers. And honestly, it's kind of fun to scream "YOU B*TCH" as I'm bleeding out on the ground with a stab wound. How can you get genuinely upset when all of your work isn't even for you, when you know everything will last into future generations, the stuff you leave behind will be used and utilized. And also it's hilarious to look at the family tree and seeing someone who was stabbed scream some funny shit as their last words.
Love what you do Jason. Keep it up, and try to keep the game within your image! I know there's gonna be some people that are unhappy, and they're gonna scream WAY louder than everyone else, but remember that this is your game, and through that you can create your own community. |
