In one life, I was a child of a berry farmer. When I became old enough, I was taught how to care for berry bushes. That was my life. From the time I was old enough to handle tools, I carried compost and water to the bushes to take care of them. Many, many of my cousins came to eat from the berry farm my brothers and sisters and I took care of. I don't know how many of our extended family we fed with our sprawling berry garden. I met with some of my cousins who routinely gathered berries to make compost, and made friends. I had children of my own. When they were old enough, I taught them to take care of berry bushes. And then I grew old, and died, surrounded by my family.

In another life, I was a pie baker. I took ownership of the oven nobody knew how to use, the wheat that the composters were discarding, and the rabbits who were hunted for their fur and their meat was left in a pile. And I made rabbit pies. All of my family loved my pies, and my little bakery fed my family on their long foraging or hunting trips. My only regret is I outlived all of my daughters. So in my last years, I took one of my nieces aside, and taught her to make rabbit pie. And then, I died, knowing that, at least, someone would carry on and make pies for my family.

In yet another life, I was the son of an eve that had come across a dying outpost. There were farms. There was livestock. There was a bakery. ...there were no women. And so my mother took care of me until I was old enough, and me and my brothers and one surviving sister took over the outpost. My sister had children, including a daughter, and so the legacy passed to her. My niece had children. And I watched it all as I made mutton pies. When my time came, I went to the graveyard where I buried my mother, and lay down beside her. The oldest of many, taking up the legacy of a dying village.

The stories that you can tell from your life in this game are amazing. It's such a simple game, with simple graphics, but it has an incredible amount of depth. The only complaint I would have are against the community more than the game; some of my lives I have had to deal with family members that were less than interested in working together.

Great game, would highly recommend.
