This is a very steep learning curve, I died maybe 10 times before I found a village that would teach me.

That said, I want to tell you a story of the first time I died of old age (1 hour of play).

I was born to a player who didn't know how to play, we were in a small farming village, but it was just us. Her mother had died, we were alone. We tried eat the berries, but we had no clue what we were doing.

Then someone showed up, from a nearby town? He showed us how to make fire, then lead us to the town. Turns out the town is our family! My grandmother left town to an outpost, but we lost connection. I'm about 15 at this time.

After getting supplies, I head back out, and try to figure out how to make a clay pot (this game isn't friendly for figuring things out). I have a child, I run her back to the village, return to my outpost. I have another child, I do the same thing. After time passes, I ask questions and I figure out how to farm. One player spent his dying minutes telling me how to farm.

All this time goes by, I decide to finish out my days in town. I go home to visit, and see my daughter is head of the medic in the village, and I have several grandchildren. I die among my family, with them giving me thanks for helping them start.
