After playing this game I am liking it and hating it. This game is overpriced at 20 dollars in my opinion at the moment. The video is misleading because there are no cars, roads, robots, or anything futuristic. You start out with nothing and stop once you get some steel tools.
I don't like the way of moving with the mouse. I like the wasd movement in games. Item storage is complete crap. I can only carry one item at a time even though I have two hands. It seems like everything is limited to holding 3 things. The area becomes cluttered quickly with items. Almost every item needs its own spot on the ground. There are also items like seeds and needles that are so small and hard to see on the screen.
Rattle snakes spawn almost everywhere. They blend with the ground with some biomes. Also you can't see them behind trees. Once bit you will die. Which is crap when you can't see them. Coyotes can kill you too which is crap. Even a dying coyote can still attack which bs.
All water is limited to small pools of water that will dry up if used too many times. There are no large bodies of water or rivers. There is no rain in the game either. Luckily you don't need to drink water in the game, but you still need water to grow plants.
Crafting stuff is extremely tedious. Making fires and milkweed plants are my two big issues with crafting. Harvesting a milkweed should give a thread. It takes two plants to make a strand of thread. You can't throw any wood in a fire once it starts. It has to be specific stuff like tinder or wood chips. Once a fire starts it should be able to burn anything that is flammable.
Sp awning can be very annoying for the mother or child. It's almost random. So everyone is like a virgin mary in the game. It just happens magically. Front baby wraps should be in this game to help with the unwanted babies for people. Front baby wraps should be in this game and should not take up carrying something for mothers.
Hopefully this game is going to updated in the future and will improve on these issues. |
