This game is great, good concept on 1 hour life. This game has a good balance of learning and enjoyment, since you don't know anything when you start, but as you learn the recipes you feel a sense of accomplishment.
Although I haven't crafted everything, I know there's not much to "building". A wall here, a door there, a fence perhaps, it stops the bears, but not much else, hopefully we'll still see something in the future that expands on this.
Since the update (noted above) self sufficiency has been made a wee bit harder, it was once a thing that "water" was the issue, by emptying ponds, but you can now put water in them, thus fixing the mistakes of new players.
Now, we have something else to worry about, "dirt", before we could grow our own carrot seeds and replant, but now if you use the farm plot to make seeds, the dirt is destroyed, which in the long run, will kill off a civilization.
The best solution I've found is to run out into desert biome's, with a basket or cart if lucky, and find seeding carrot plants, this does require people to go do it, let alone know where they are, but despite people telling me berry bushes are now best, it's not a good substitute from the fast growing carrots.
Since there's no guarantee they will produce berry's fast enough to sustain a growing civilization.

(I still find at times a "server full" message, and the lag with this is horrible which never happened to me before, hopefully this will be fixed)

Other than that the game is still really enjoyable and is worth every penny, get in there and do your part, and hopefully you'll see it better still the next day x)
