I have very mixed feelings for this game. I personally really like it and am somewhat addicted, but I do think it's a bit too hard for long term game play. There are some issues that need to be tweaked. Societies cannot support themselves because of how hard the game is, and it gets a little annoying, especially since a lot of the players are new.
Basicall y: if you don't like challenging games that make you grind a bit, don't get One Hour One Life.
