Never a dull moment in this game. It succeeds most in its utter lack of forgiveness. If you mess up, forget something, or poorly strategize, you will die. Unless you get lucky.
There are themes of family, community, communication, survival, and sustainability in this game. When I try to rough it on my own, I can succeed, but it gets kind of boring and I never advance far beyond carrot farming. The real fun comes when you start a civilization and never know who you'll end up with as children.
Wit h endless replayability and an ever-growing community, this is well worth the 20 dollars, imo.
Oh, and for the love of God, NEVER pick non-fruiting milkweed. Even if there's a fire. |
