So I haven't played for about two months. Been busy, but since all the updates and the game going to Steam, thought I should give it a go.
The good news is, the basics haven't changed. So I played one game as a girl. Moved away from the largish village which looked like it was running low on food. Got a family started. Main resources a plenty near water, all the eggs and berries you could eat. Died of old age at 60. Hadn't got the farm started yet, but was confident my fams could do the next step.
Reboote d, landed somewhere new. Mum abandoned me - died. Rebooted a third time. Different family again, Mum AFK, but someone fed me berries and carried me to the outskirts of their village - said "You live here now!" Fine by me - as a girl I always like to start my own village. Found the village I started previously where the last inhabitant was about to die from a rattle snake bite. Took back my village and had many kids.
Now - here is the point of that story. Checked my family history, turns out, the family I jumped into, well their great grandmother had actually killed one of my daughters from the first shot at the village. Pretty cool to see it back in my hands, despite the name change! |
