Hello everyone, I'm sure most of you don't know who I am anymore so this is mainly for the OGs. I am Bobo Bill, I started playing One Hour One Life when I was 13 years old, and now in three days I will have turned 18, time sure does fly by.
How can you have played OHOL before the game even released? Did you homeschool with Jason’s son or something lmao?
The only way we can hope resurrect it is to seek the aid of a level 99 necromancer.
Video games don’t have to be realistic lmao. This is one of worst ideas you’ve had, and that’s really saying something. Also “challenge” doesn’t equal dying at random to stuff outside of your control.
Guess the dice roll wasn’t in my favor during this random birth *dies*
That’s some rich dynamics right there!
Jason's Work Schedule from 2020-2021
Make tik tok videos....
That’s very uncharitable of you.
I’ll have you know that he also tweets a lot about his AI project.
This thread makes me feel like I just travelled back in time. I almost forgot that this content existed. Not entirely sure why people suddenly stopped doing the long sprinkler/plow setups. Maybe it was too much effort to set it up for the reward, since kerosene is much easier to come by nowadays. May as well just use the diesel well I guess.
Next update is when your ban expires. Good luck.
Lmao
Maybe in a couple of years Jason would’ve developed a fully functioning Jason Dev AI with Project December to take over his dev responsibilities. It’ll revive the game since the appearance of the very first AI indie game developer will bring in many headlines and in turn, massive player interest.
Every thread on the forum has unironically turned into this:

Poor OP just wanted to hear community stories and reasons people got hooked to the game. Big RIP
The family mechanic is what brought me in and the crafting system is what hooked me.
When was the last time you used github? Jason has literally not closed a single github issue related to Ohol in the entire year of 2021, and we’re almost halfway through this year. Sure he used to respond to issues more frequently, but then is not now.
Make a github post. Its the best way to resolve mechanical issues like this.
I'm sure that'll get it solved in a jiffy lmao. Meanwhile I have 6 open issues sitting on github for almost a year with Jason having yet to respond to any of them.

??? its on steam what are you talking about
Dude. Seriously. Look at the date stamps on these posts. They're two and a half years old. The game has changed SIGNIFICANTLY since that time.
These posts are from before the game was on Steam. You're talking to someone who probably doesn't even play anymore.
Please pay attention and stop necroing threads to add irrelevancies.
He’s trolling. He obviously already knows that it wasn’t on Steam back then. But the necroing behavior has been officially condoned by Jason, so this is deemed totally acceptable. Don’t expect the mods to do anything about it.
Stop stealing seeds. You naughty girl you!
You're in my house.... be nice to each other, please. There's always PM if you want to continue fighting.
Will you fight me over PM? Pretty please!
Do you see white text on a black background when you say something in game?
Necromancy is an admirable profession.
I can confirm that these comments do show up in Discord. No need to thank me Jason!
Very informative. Would never have found out that server 3 didn't have maps without this reanimated thread.
boot
The boots indicate an unwillingness to even try to think about things.

We ignore the obvious biological differences between competitors within sexes all the time in sports. The game of basketball doesn't suddenly have different rules when tall people play with short people.
sigmen4020 wrote:Guess women should just overcome their very real biological disadvantages in order to be recognized for their sporting ability at all.
Any man that wants to play in a professional basketball league and is of below average height has to overcome such a biological disadvantage. Given that women have as much biological disadvantage as you think, sure, why not? Competitive sports are about winning while playing a fair competition. Integrating sports leagues means more fair competition.
You seriously think that a minor height difference in basketball is even remotely comparable to the multitudes of disadvantages(that I just conveniently listed) women would face against men in physical sports?
Okay...
Also some physical sports aren't just segregated by sex, such as weight classes in boxing. Isn't it totally unfair to the man who got fourth place as a heavyweight, when he could have easily beaten the champion in the flyweight class?
Yeah, let's just completely ignore the very obvious biological differences between men and women that make men achieve better results in sports than women, such as less body fat, more muscle mass, and larger heart and lungs. Guess women should just overcome their very real biological disadvantages in order to be recognized for their sporting ability at all. All your proposal would do is discourage all women from competing in most sports, with maybe a few exceptions like horse riding which is already uni-sex sport.

I'm guessing the next thing you'll advocate for is the removal of the paralympics, since it's so unfair to male athletes that some para athlete gets to have a medal for a worse performance, right? Para athletes should compete in the regular olympics same as everyone else, right?
Also what does this have to do with the game again?
Doesn't the generational decay of food values basically doom lineages after apocalypses anyway? Don't see how unlocking their iron will help pre-apocalypse families much since they're probably just gonna starve to death until that's addressed. Maybe that's by design idk. Also seems iron being locked might not even be an issue after all.

Hmmm... In my country, 5*5=25 and 25-1=24.
But we use ancient mathematics, maybe you use modern ones ?
Oh yeah my bad. The actual seed ratio would be 24:1. Guess I brainfarted, no idea how I got 5*5 to equal 20 in my head.
Edit: Also wow, now wonder we have a garlic apocalypse now lmao.
