Just add a special command to OHOL that let's the village leader raise all those bone piles into skeletal zombie workers that can be controlled by their summoner. Command them to go forth and plant carrots. We won't need to fear griefers killing our families anymore. Every death just makes your village stronger and stronger.
Even better .. the undead don't need to eat. They never grow tired. They simply work until they fall apart and get replaced with fresh corpses. It is a perfect system.
