Merry Christmas, Hanukkah and New Years everyone!

I think the life limiter is a good idea but if you make penalties for using /DIE, we will just have runner babies again. And if it's a choice then people will get irritated at you for making their life harder. Can you imagine being a travelling mom and having to look after a child who can't see? Once I was 'blind' because I ate a shroom in my last life. And whilst my mother didn't mind, my siblings kept trying to kill me because I was a waste of food. I would love to see disabilities implemented but it just seems like a lot of effort to get right...

Don't you mean 'tusk tusk'?

Eyyy I see what you did there!

Unlike in real life where if you have a disability or have sight issues, you're stuck with it, ohol you can just be reborn. So even if you get a slight buff most people would opt for tje easier route

Your dumdum drawings always lighten my day! Burdock aunty at it again

#9 Re: Main Forum » Missed Connections » 2019-12-18 21:08:55

Just a bump, this thread used to be one of my favorites to read and it's a shame it isn't used anymore. I just don't want it to fade away lol

#10 Re: Main Forum » The forum is slowly dying. » 2019-12-18 21:06:45

Yeah and also no one really post stories anymore so it's either suggestions or complaints imo. I used to read the forums really often because there was always a chance that someone was talking about a life I was in. Now...the subjects just don't interest me, personally. Whenever Jason updates you bet there's going to be 5 new topics on how "broken" whatever he's done is

#11 Re: Main Forum » Old Milkweed System Vs. New Milkweed System » 2019-12-18 21:02:15

Apparently there were too many SHOULD NOT rules before that people complained that they werent fun and were challenging for a new player to learn as it was more of a community made rule rather than an obvious gameplay one.
Examples of things you SHOULD NOT DO:
- drain the last bowl from a pond (empty forever)
- drain the last bowl from a well (empty forever and no way of telling how full it was)
- kill a non family rabbit (dead forever)
- pick non fruiting milkweed (will never regrow)

#12 Re: Main Forum » Is Picking Berries Too Slow? » 2019-12-18 20:57:08

Yeah it used to be really annoying as you had to wait
A) for the berries to regrow (couldn't pick the last berry)
Or
B) an hour for a new berry bush to grow
I prefer it to how it is now if I'm being honest

#13 Re: Main Forum » The forum is slowly dying. » 2019-12-18 20:54:22

It's a shame, I remeber the old days where you cpuld ask someone ingame if they were on the forums and 90% of the time they'd say yes. Everyone is on discord nowadays or on the steam forums or just lurking

#14 Re: News » Update: Lead and Follow » 2019-12-16 07:25:58

I gave out free hugs to be an empress. Look I don't see the problem with this update as it's more visual than a crown. Also why kill a monarchy? It's pretty easy to become a ruler yourself, just convince people to follow you.
One time our king exiled a baby kidnapper who would ask people to follow them. The moms didn't know and the kids were none the wiser, till they saw the cross.

#17 Re: Main Forum » Possible Update? Role for Dogs » 2019-12-13 07:13:21

All I want is either them to follow you or be leashed, just so they are more personal

#19 Re: Main Forum » Another Reason Why I Won't Be Playing on BS2 » 2019-12-11 07:38:57

I mean at least crowns have a use now right? We always complain that Jason never listens and then we complain that he does! At the end of the day, I could see a bunch of berry farmers revolting against a powerhungry king and if no one likes the update then crowns wont be made.
Don't quit Bs2 over optional gameplay!

#20 Re: Main Forum » About taking Photo! » 2019-12-11 07:35:24

Good job on making the photo paper, the puppy one is my favourite!

#22 Re: Main Forum » The tale of sister insanity (WARNING Griefing trigger) » 2019-12-06 07:13:56

"Everyone does it at least once"
Not really...why don't you go fishing if you are bored? Or plant trees?

#23 Re: Main Forum » Idea for new characters » 2019-12-04 15:24:55

Just a +1 because new characters are always great!

#24 Re: Main Forum » Foreigners: An OHOL story in OHOL time. (Fictional) » 2019-12-04 15:22:22

This was really great! I got a "choose your own adventure vibe" from it, I hope this won't be the last time you write a story ^^

#25 Re: Main Forum » Running to the Bell Tower. Why? » 2019-12-03 17:06:27

Everyone just expects to Bell tower to be the promised land and be a safehaven. I go their because it may give my family a bigger chance to survive and it's also a pretty cool story!
"How did you get here?"
"Oh I was born here."
or
"MY GRANDMA TRAVELED 4K TILES, RAISED MY MOM AND FOUR UNCLES WITH JUST A SHARP ROCK AND THREE BURDOCK ROOTS"
with languages and race restrictions new people are often pretty helpful
