I personally believe the life system is very effective for average and good players. Every hour you get a life, so if your playing a normal game, you shouldn't run out of lives. Newer players may struggle with the learning curve as they most likely will not live a full game their first few games, so I believe that new players should be immune to the lives system for a certain amount of time, to ge... |

Some lives are full of griefers and slackers.
Oth ers are just the best and the team comes together to make a town succeed.
Thos e lives spent foraging near starvation and bring home 200 rabbits to clothe the children. You come back and everybody clothed, rabbits are now pies and the compost smells from a mile away.

I DON'T THINK THE GENE UPDATE HAS HAD ANY IMPACT. THERE IS STILL JUST AS MUCH SUICIDE AND MURDER. I THINK THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO MOTIVATE THROUGH REWARD RATHER THAN MAKING CONSEQUENCES. LIFE IS MOTIVATED BY CONSEQUENCE. the game is excellent and i would suggest it to anybody capable of joining the server. on that note i think that genetic history and scores with fitness is a great step forward for the game. on a side note i have noticed that eve's are sometimes killed by their children. and the amusement is only compounded by the server reboot watching the eve train and the dead bodies only regulated by the event... |
