In memoriam

The Tarr said nothing.  Just gave me a glance...
just gave me a very sad, sad backward glance...
as he lifted himself by the seat of his pants.
And I'll never forget the grim look on his face
when he hoisted himself and took leave of this place,
through a hole in the rift, without leaving a trace.

And all that the Tarr left here in this mess was
a small pile of rocks, with one word...
UNLESS.
Whatever that meant, well, I just couldn't guess.

That was long, long ago.
But each day since that day
I've sat here and worried and worried away.
Through the years, while my game world
has fallen apart,
I've worried about it
with all of my heart.

Re: In memoriam

Yes, unfortunately.

It's really time consuming.  I really need to cut back and keep nose to grindstone!

Re: In memoriam

Well, maybe Jason should keep working on the game. The keeping of the nose to the grindstone idea is a good one. You do need breaks, though.

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

Yeah that’s probably the crux of the whole thing. The idea of having a limited play area with can be an intriguing one, but the current gameplay is not really set up well for that right now. The biggest problem being too few ideal places to settle, leading to a lack of family variety pretty quickly.

For the time being, I think we have enough content.

You say that but we had multi race families going multiple times in these last couple days.

Shout out to the bison family.

I get that right now there is only one family, the ring family, but that family killed two families that were codependent to achieve that status, and even may have killed a third family.

I may be a casual one or two a day life player, but the lives I've had have been fun and i guess I just don't get all this commotion. Ive enjoyed the lives on this limited map more than the recent lives in the unlimited map.

I get that people dislike the change, but get that some people do like this change. We just aren't as vocal.

I'm flying high. But the worst is never first, and there's a person that'll set you straight. Cancelling the force within my brain. For flying high. The simulator has been disengaged.

Re: In memoriam

Ring killed the King
kings did the grind for the tools and stuff

im killed too often and i don't enjoy to be killed by less skilled people with no reason, out of the blue
cant help but think of "i seen it, i moved"
and they keep flexing like it needs any kind of skill to kill others

There was another family with the kings who didn't have a last name. I actually helped them with that grind as a ginger but from the storm family that died when I was in my teens.

See pein I'm never killed by people. I may just be lucky but idk, its been a long time since someone's got me. I literally only die from bears or mosquitoes somehow.
