Like "version history" page on Wiki? Would be nice. Thats where I've spent most of my time for games like Minecraft of Factorio.

Never participated in the forums with Factorio but I really enjoyed the game and reading the positive player responses to the game. This game (and dev) remind me of the Factorio spirit.

I don't know how exactly you would deal with this kind of problem in a game like this right now.

I just saw a problem with the Noorg server that may help correct the overall destructive noob problem. The Noorg server currently has a fixed spawn location and someone had built trash pits all around with a single adobe wall. Funny, but not currently playable.

I was originally going to suggest we password protect certain servers to keep those without the password or that frequent the forums, off the server. Thinking about that, only playing with veterans kind of defeats the big picture experience of the game.

Anyway, I'm gonna check out the 120 server. I still have yet to learn blacksmithing. What is charcoal for?

Yes, unplayable as of now. Funny but not for a regular person. Please fix.

I think with more updates, more items will be stackable in those containers like those darn cut pieces of fur and the booties. I like having stuff all over the place IF I know where it's all at. However, having stuff inside containers that have a tooltip for what is inside would free up a lot of clutter. More space could certainly facilitate a community gathering area, one that builds upon the fire area where the children/mothers stay warm.

Can you imagine getting some shaman type people to pass on skills and just boost overall morale? I can see the beginning of that type of thinking with the dyes that were added in this update. Pretty cool stuff.

Do you know what to do with the penguins and seals? I haven't tried anything. I'm ready to get me a bear though!

Great info. Thank you.

I logged in for two lives as a baby and saw domestic lambs as carrot farms.

The easiest way to remedy the "let x row/column go to seed" problem is just eat from the baskets? No food in the baskets? Go get seeds or water the dry plot.

Berries disappear if on the ground as well as your backpack or a basket. I have also noticed that milkweed seeds and berry seeds disappear after a time as well. I haven't spent enough time looking at carrot seeds to see if they disappear though. I always pick a couple carrot seeds and drop them on the ground if I see them in the wild.

I am planning to relocate all farms to be next to the water.  Not "near" the water -- directly next to it.  Farms grow just fine in wetlands.  Having the ponds within eyesight elimates the need to store/transport water pouches or clay bowls in volume.  It also allows the farmers to monitor water usage more directly, preventing them from being drained or misdirected.

This is great. It acts as water storage as well. How many does it hold, 4 or 5? Dirt mounds hold 5 by the way. I stockpiled a dirt hole next to my carrot and milkweed farm before I died.

What if we assumed that every community that we built was going to collapse? Rather than building on the assumption that it can somehow be kept going forever, what if we designed it with the idea in mind that it will collapse, but it should be possible to resurrect it, too?

This times 100 million.

I've been lucky to not experience trolls killing people on purpose. What I have seen over the last week of playing is poor set ups to sustain the next generation. Its all about seeds! (Do seeds disappear from the basket?) A decent set up for just carrots I've tried to spread is: water stockpile (pouches are the best) on the left side of the dirt, harvest on top, seed baskets bottom row with the entire bottom row of dirt for growing seeds to sustain and spread the wealth to neighbors. I've seen left side column to let carrots go to seed work just fine for a smaller farm as well. STOP WITH THE SINGLE CARROT TO SEED THAT ROW. It's way too much time to wait.

I think trade routes need to be established and maintained in order for us to progress in tech as well as exploration. I'm gonna try to play on server3 exclusively (just learned how to choose)... I'm ready to do something else besides farm for an entire lifetime. Repeating myself is getting tiring. I just hope new players check out these forums.
