Hey, I disabled emails long time ago and want to add game to my steam library. Is it impossible?

100% agree.
I have not played the game for like 8 months, just returned, so I am not sure if numbers have changed. At the time rabbit clothes were the best (with snake boots being the same as rabbit ones) and this is weird, because these are the easiest ones to obtain.
I think there should be a tier list of clothes based on technology level. Like tier_1 providing +10..-10 based on environment, tier_2 +15..-15, etc.
I understand that Jason is trying to make the game realistic, well, then we can make two separate groups of clothes - light and warm ones with tier lists implemented inside of these groups. E.g. first groups will provide -10, -15, -20 and the second one +10, +15, +20, etc.

Overall, players should be encouraged to get higher tech stuff in order to make their lives easier, isn't that what progress is all about? It's not just about clothes ofc, it's just the most obvious thing to fix.

Can you make it so everyone will spawn in the same spot? Like it was before.
There is like 3 players playing on this server on average now, so it's almost impossible to build anything.

Probably has been already discussed, but since search does not work..

In order to name a baby:

  • YOU ARE

  • YOUR NAME IS

  • I NAME YOU

  • I CALL YOU

  • YOU ARE CALLED

  • YOU ARE NAMED

In order to name yourself as an Eve:

  • MY NAME IS EVE

  • I AM EVE

  • CALL ME EVE

  • I AM CALLED EVE

  • I AM NAMED EVE

  • MY NAME IS

  • I AM

  • CALL ME

  • I AM CALLED

  • I AM NAMED

Found the method that calculates mothers for babies. It takes in account: birthCooldown (about 2 minutes), badMotherLimit (amount of dead kids, starting from 2 but gets bigger if population is huge, 10 max), current food meter (more fed women has bigger chances of spawning the baby).
But there is nothing about location, so babies spawn randomly no matter whether or not they have made it to age 60 in previous lives.

It was me causing the 5th Apocalypse btw smile
Not quite the speedrun tho, spent almost 3 lives. But I was also doing some other stuff, not focusing only on a single task.
How it was.

Wouldn't it be wise to spend some of that time on.. oh I don't know... anything else other than picking even more carrots?

To be honest, from my last dozen runs I have not really seen anybody who wants/knows how/cares at all about farming. And I am not even talking about making compost piles thus creating self sustainable farms, just simple farming. It's either I spent my life farming/making pies or village dies out.
Every newborn kid tends to do whatever he can except for food production. Literally anything, but not farming. Closest they get to food production is rabbit hunting.
And in those rare cases when somebody finally decides to help farming he usually screws everything up by eating berries, watering everything even tho we don't have any free storage, plants milkweeds in the middle of carrot farm, just fails to pick up carrots and destroys soil.. There is like 1001 different ways to screw up civilization and it will take more than a life to explain everything to the new player.

I am sorry about that post guys. I need a brake. May be few weeks later people will get better at this game and trying to make civilization work will not be such pain in the loincloth. Right now the game is super easy in "singleplayer mode" and super hard once you have at least two other players around.

Also.. Jason, please, make a singplayer mode of this game, I want to make a perfect civilization at least once after my 55 hours of gameplay xD

May be someone already suggested something like this, but I have not seen such topics yet.

Here is two different options:
1. Last words. Once player dies - pop up a dialog, where he can write the story of his life, or some last words, how he died, etc. Once someone finds his remainings - he can read this message. Come on, is't this great?
2. Name of the city. I aknowledge that this one is tricky and harder to implement. For example, once an Eve places her first marker in the middle of nowhere, she can write the name of the city, list the founders, may be something else?
Once people enter the city in the future - they see this message.

Some parts can be generated automatically, like the cause of death or the date of foundation.

Sorry for my englando.

Your child, your brother and your grandpa.
