This is a thread to post some of your guesses of what the new content update next week might include.

My guesses are :

Jute - A fibrous plant which can be made into rope and hessian sacks.

Barrels - We could craft them with the tools we already have available and could hold buckets of wheat, palm nuts, wine, water ect.

Tea and medicine - Wild comfrey for insect bites, Rose hip Tea, Yarrow slows bleeding and as a tea can help colds and other ailments.

SOMEONE leaked that it's going to be a naturally spawning resource and that it wasn't game changing.

I'm assuming it might be the purple snails he said he was going to add at some point. We'll crush up their shells to make purple dye.

Thats feels more like a fix then content, id like horizontal upgrades to the tech tree like watering cans, cooking fires, anvils, etc.

I really like those ideas. Watering cans could hold more water and get filled from cisterns or full buckets. Cooking fires could last longer and have a fire spot that doesn't disappear when the fire goes out. Not sure how anvils would work but sounds like a good idea.

With the new food-category system Jason has in place, he is able to add new foods which can be domesticated (like wild carrots), and not increase the yum! pool. Which would add another layer to farming. Fully cultured seeds can become a new, hard to find resource, which are needed in a late-gen family.

a low hance hat is something animal-related, like killing cows for leather and steak
maybe he adds some feature to sheep since he nerfed it

Next Thursday is June 11th.

June 11th is the birthday of late actor Gene Wilder. He's well known for his portrayal of Willy Wonka in the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Willy Wonka was also played by Johnny Depp in the 2005 remake of the same movie.

Johnny Depp is known for his portrayal of Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Pirates of the Caribbean is based on Disney's theme park attraction of the same name, which can be found in the Magic Kingdom theme park in Florida (and other locations).

Florida is known for its large alligator population, and alligators would make sense as another hostile animal in the Swamp biome.

Since the update is most likely coming out on June 11th, I think Jason will make it a thematic content update related to Gene Wilder's birthday, which means we will get alligators.

at the end of the book they're revealed to have their bodies changed alot due to messing with the factory, but they come out fine

Hoping for:

Flushing out the Industrial Era of tech, Basically adding improved Versons of everything. We don't really have a proper industrial era right now, Just a few items advanced items that are out of place.

But to be honest, The purple dye update is more on brand.
