Trying to silence online community, is dead effort. I see 100x more value in just keeping everything open.

Triggers get triggered. That SJW is never going to come to forums and discuss about symbolism and iconography. Ze just gonna log straight into some social network with dem hashtags #hatecrime #banhatespeech. Or even worse spam post suggestion about sexchange surgery content.

If someone gets offended by a symbol (or anything at all)i really think you dont even need that kinda persons around you.

People who are actually open minded and not condemn every freaking thing straight at a glimpse are usually the ones that make the world turn around. Invent new things, try different style of aproach and actually create something new (or tons of hitler dickbutts).

What has any SJW brought in to this world? Silenced opressed majority that is boiling inside provoking the next race war?

Dealing with tough issues by making fun of it is best way to deal with it.

You seem equally triggered by others being offended by a symbol. I agree society shouldnt be filtered or oppressed in their expression but CatX's referenced post makes a strong point. I recommend letting your personal offense go, bring up your valid point about the cultural aspects of symbols and freedom of expression and leave it at that. Attacking others for their beliefs and belittling them is just as distasteful as what you are offended by. Some might even call it a pathetic cry for attention...

Very logical, my mistake. Social justice has been around forever. Sure SJW is a new term but that doesnt mean the concept hasnt existed for a long time. No, it’s really not. That’s like saying spamming the N word on deeeep.io is the best way to combat the US’s history of slavery and racism. Saying that it “deals with it” is just taking the easy way out. For some people the holocaust is really important/part of their history, though maybe it’s not part of yours, and seeing that might be painful for them, because it’s making a joke out of struggle.

Yeah, even very anything-goes conservative game devs tend to not permit this type of stuff because of the German law stuff. Even posting images of it in the forums is risky in terms of getting the game into some legal heat in German courts if anyone in Germany is paying for it (they probably are) so just don't be a dick and draw dicks instead

This can be true if you're dealing with some of your own pain and you're trying to come to terms with it.. by doing stand up comedy or something.

But when you're "dealing" with other people's pain, not your own, it feels a bit disingenous to even calling it "dealing" with it. You're not dealing with it. You're poking at it.

We are all human, we all have pain. However, not everyone's button for pain is visible, or easily brought to the surface with symbols. If you have an invisible button for pain, the benefit is, other people can't press it. That's the real distinction here.

..off topic - the other side of that coin, is that having an invisible pain can be really alienating, because maybe people think you aren't suffering. So you suffer alone.

Yeah with 95% of convictions a result of plea deals for fear of getting extended jail time the criminal legal system gets no love from me, but it's an odd thing to focus on protection orders... For women I know who've had to file them, there were some abusive men on the other side.. And all it's saying is you can't go near them, right?
