Pay more attention to people who mention you by name

It'd be convenient if we could say someone's name, and they would see a more noticeable speech bubble.

IRL everyone is trained to recognize their name even when they're not paying attention to the conversation.

For example, Alice says "Bob, give me that basket". Bob is too far to hear that normally, but because Alice mentioned Bob by name, he will still see a notification at the edge of the screen, and it'll be highlighted with a different color.

If this was added it would be also great if there was auto-finishing name thing when pressed TAB button.
I mean if someone for example has name Annaalexandra you could just write "an" and press tab and it would automatically correct to Annaalexandra. It would be cool if it worked even in the middle of a sentence. For example "nice to see you ann" then press TAB and it would autocorrect to "nice to see you Annaalexandra".

Also works for suggesting valid names for eves/babies

I like the premise of this idea. The text could even just appear in seperate color, or play a special tone when your name is mentioned on screen if the 'hearing stuff off screen' idea is too much. There's been times where someone is trying to talk to me and it takes some persistence from them before I clue in that the name they keep saying is mine.

This notification thing and colored text could appear only if first word of a sentence was someone's name. So you could keep gossiping if you didn't use the name in first word

For messages that the client gets, it could display them however it liked. But if the server think you are too far to hear, thats it.
