As of Sunday 28 this are the eve names
there is 254 entries as Noparent chain 1 which means they are eve
there is 102 entries as Eves with names
there is 8399 entries in the whole txt
each birth and death (some error cause it's not even numbers or missing deaths?)
4190 births out of 8399 total
4322 unique player ID where 603 unique player hashes
235 old age but quite few died seconds before reaching that
108 killed by 64 unique killers
2358 kids died below age 3.59 (i think is not 3 min a bit more to grow up and don't rely on others to feed)
this means more than half of those IDs dead, so you left with 2000 players who played the game "normally"
also was a killer who kill a girl with hair so that's the range i choose for kids
6 of this was killed before growing hair
1969 disconnect
is that SID? must be, only found those entries for the id, all disconnects are young people
383 hunger (abandoned, starved, ran away or accident)
2864 players didn't make into adulthood (14 year old) so around 500 people arent skilled or motivated to stay
1348 did reach adulthood
where 937 females and 411 males
overall
303 died before 20
those who reach that 198 reached 30
148 of those reached 40
females who made into adulthood 937
243 died before 20 (where males are rest of 60)
123 died between 20-30 (where males are rest of it now i don't know but seems if males stay then they don't really die after 20)
93 between 30-40
109 between 40-50
51 died between 50-55
and 312 made it to elder
153 died of old age
So you got 250 eves daily
102 can name herself at least, 17 people name themselves Jones cause of the tutorial i guess
And some eves got multiple runs, 29 eves by who are not jones and multiple runs, 2 or more, so 65 unique eves who are not Jones
pls don't do this Dupont and Haak and Pie and others, choose unique name each time, maybe similar ones
so in average you get 2000 people where 500 new or unskilled to survive to adulthood
2/3 is female or suicides
males still die before 20, a male older than that likely stays
if they die before growing hair
20% of babies starve (run or abandoned)
80% suicides
around 200 of 600 unique players play Eve which is 33%
where they didn't name themselves because the spot is bad or they unskilled to do so, and lot of kids suicide cause of this, so it's a bad idea and i cant consider them proper eves so around 10%-15% of Eves choose to settle (might be more but has unnamed lineage)
for around 85 decent lineages we get around 1350 people who take it seriously and play a decent life, where around 950 are girls
and around 400 who are born wrong gender, wrong time (if they abandoned or they run , i don't think kidnap or other issue is very common or just bad intended parents) and 2300 SID
around 500 who unskilled or unmotivated to reach adulthod
it's not eve kid stat, i didn't break it down by chain this is daily total number
for example if each of those 937 females is a generation which is not, you get around 11 females per lineage per decent Eve
not sure on how many Eves make it daily, but the more eves the lower this number is so if one family makes it to 50, that means it used 5% of the females avaliable that day best case scenario (each girl had 1 girl)
right now one line had 40 generations and 4 of them around 25 in top 5
that means 140 females are used up for the top 5 (the stats are for previous day, no clue how long the lineages were, none of them in top 5 this week)

stats made manually, might contain errors or subjective estimations as percentages
this is a day report, which i wont do every day, and just a snapshot, might differ from average days, one day before update so the meta kinda settled
used google sheets to easier view and sorting
used sublime text3 to easier manipulate text (multiple cursors, selection copied for line numbers to count them)
the pictures are showing the end of files with a counter
the list of eves was filtered by players who were named "EVE " then by name then by other things
Opinions?
Is the players attitude bad?
Did i miss anything?
if anyone knows how could i link the names from one text to ids in other text fast, automatically that would help

I added a life export to my Family tree maker. This is a set of Ruby scripts, and in a bit of rough state still, using a bunch of technical stuff such as command line. Let me know where you run into trouble trying to use it.
Roughly you would fetch data
ruby fetch.rb
And then run
ruby -Ilib lives_export.rb
which dumps files into the output directory.
This script is currently set to look at the previous day. You could also look at yesterdays_lives for some lineage tracking code.

Data in April 28 file was not fully writen when you copied it, I see diferent numbers i.e. there are 13392 births.

My eve last name was in here, heheh
It was Chan my friend's eve last name is Liz.

It wouldnt be so bad if it was obvious which lineage you were from. I played with three different Jo lineages in 24h or so.
Maybe have FirstName Number LastName Number. As in first child of Eve Jo IV would be Mary Jo IV. If there was another Mary on same lineage then Mary II Jo IV. Not pretty bit then it would be obvious.
And perhaps keep increasing the number for a week or so. Or just let it reset on server restart.

i would prefer some SQL method, i could technically do some tablesorter2 stuff , and the data is completely replaceable until the structure is the same
maybe i need to push the lines a bit cause births and deaths got some differences in structure
i just need that part on how to connect ID with the name, technically same every time just woudl be duplicate in other text

What I do when i work with those files i sort by first column Birth/Death and move deaths to another sheet.
To link data from two files, copy id and names to end of ID column, sort all by ID and rows with names shoud be under maching birth data. Now to copy names to same row as birth data write formula in free column IF(C1=C2;D2) where C1 and C2 are IDs and D2 is Name. Then copy formula down across all rows and copy results as text so it does not change after sorting. Sort by first column again and delete duplicate entries with names.
Maybe someone can write a script or something better than this.

yeah found it, actually not a program, just a function
called lookup
the array version still didn't worked somewhy but i can copy the formula all across by dragging
basically will search id in a column or range and if matches, then you copy the second cell next to it
just an example code, ignore the weird tables, i just copied things on top of each other
#N/A when there is no name attached to ID meaning they are nameless
your solution seems good too
but even i na small sample lot of nameless people reach older age
gotta dig out my tablesorter2 script, had his tablesorter which works in jsfiddle with some external jquerry scripts
basically makes every table sortable and filterable, and multiple columns sortable and filterable
so such thing as female ordered by age and reason of death

Would you guys be interested in a Python script that downloads logs between any two dates and arranges them in a CSV file for easy Excel import?
You would have to install Python, if you're on Windows.

so basically you can filter on anything in any row
you can use expressions too
one expression for example <3 and killer (start typing hunger or killer or disconnect and will filter it anyway)
now this shows the people who were killed before age 3
havent set up the names like in my previous post so you cant search on it
but you can search on the ID
or the hash, your own or the killer hash or similar
or the first part of coordinates so it's likely same city like 31 and -24 for a city around (31xxx,-24xxx)
a name list is easy to make this way too, but much better using a lookup function and adding it onto other list, maybe display nameless1234567 as a name
you can also order things by clicking column, you can order by multiple things like hash and age same time so will display each hash with oldest age reached first
this is an example form the yesterday records ( deaths from 3rd may)
yet an other example why multiple names are bad, like they got 3 names in practice so i cant put as first and last name
and amy VI is technically Nameless Amy the6th but "VI" would become the family name in auto generated table
but as logn as Ids are the same length, i can press home, arrow until the first space and one TAB to make it into an ID NAME table
im too tired to figure out how to display the number of lines after filtering
like the stats i did last time, basically filter disconnects and the number of tiles would be the number of SID babies
basically i used some french guy table, edited the html part, added the column headers
copied the text from lifelog
in sublime text3 (text editor) you can select a space and press alt+F3 and will select every space
you can then change the spaces to TAB, which is basically what makes the lifelog an excel table
or "," to make it CSV
if you copy that text with TABs, then pasting into excel or google docs makes each field appear on a separate cell
takes a bit of time for huge data but nothing super long
same way would work with this tablesorter, but i made extra edits in google sheets, like cutting out the births from deaths
so i just put the whole table into a html converter
https://www.textfixer.com/html/csv-convert-table.php
which adds <tr><td> at front and </td></tr> at back
and each space becomes </td><td>
but the converter is good enough
basically you could add an empty cell for each birth before the gender, then the coords would be same field and the reason of death and parent same column
