TRUE! So it really does not have THAT much of an effect on you're lineage, so spreading out is a legitimate strat.
Sorry, but to be honest I am kind of laughing myself to death right now. I can't read this, and if you're story NEEDS to be this long at least try paragraphing. . . XD
This isn't spam!!! This is a masterpiece!!!
But those two towns will be taking away from other towns, as there are probably more than that one town, and the overall baby count for that lineage will increase, and if village A does die out because of what you said, village B will still be there to live on. Though lineage bans could be a problem, but that is a problem Jason needs to fix himself, perhaps making the lineage ban not from the lineage, but from the place they were at when they reached 30 years age.
If you spawn in as a girl, a great thing to do is travel FARRR away (As Far As Possible) to a good base location, and build a base from scratch. This migration splits you're lineage in two, meaning that if the Super Village dies out (which it will) the lineage will still live on.
I believe that most, if not all of the trolls lately have been SuperFun alt accounting, however, this is apparently not a big issue.
These alt accounting problems could be fixed if the two letter code you need to put in was updated so that there was more than one possibility for a code, and once you used that code word, it became invalid.
Town of Salem!!! (That game is sorta broken though
)
Did they really destroy it all, because if they took the time to do that, they really are a rotten person, and I would suspect superfun, not that the name matters. That's just such an evil thing to do, i'm sorry.
Since when do dogs have lambs??? Oh, I know what you mean about lambs. . . perhaps if they only had one lamb per feeding, and stay as a baby forever until fed?
They die after about 20 to 30 mins, but there corpses live on forever
Fixing the word limit could help. Another thing that Jason should do is make it so that noobs (first 10-15 times playing) cannot spawn as eves, as to prevent them from getting stranded without any knowledge.
Perhaps he should make some Fix-Ups to the game before releasing it to steam, so we get AMAP (As Many Players As Possible) from steam.
Than maybe the problem is that other clothing options are not good enough? Aprons should not be objectively better than wool sweaters, as they have the same cost, so maybe we just need better chest clothing, than people can complain that aprons don't decay.
1: I agree that the word system should be changed once you get to age ten, and I am not sure why it is still this way, but it is:(
2: I feel you're pain with the crafting tree, and some official crafting tree should be implemented in game, like in a "crafting" tab, but Jason wants you to learn from others, though normally people just use onetech.info, as it is much easier.
3: I also think you should be able to move with WASD, but you should be left clicking to move instead of right clicking, at least I do?
4: Yes. . . Knife should be used by double clicking ![]()
5: There is no child cap because babies suicide often, and if you only have 4 children and 2 of them happen to suicide, you are screwed. Don't feel bad about abandoning children though :\
6: Fire is much easier to make than you think, and you just have to play the game more. If you were doing an eve run, I understand as it is hard to survive as an Eve and create a village for beginners, but really the game is not that hard, you just need to learn the rules:)
Anyways, I wish you the best of luck on you're journey with this game!
On another note, why do we have lineage bans AT ALL? (not including murder related)
I mean, why can't a person re-spawn in there own camp in another life if they are lucky enough to be born there? Can someone explain, because this seems so pointless I am unable to understand it.
People would not stop making aprons! They would just consider using alternatives, such as wearing something in the chest slot that warms you. If this were to make aprons useless, they could just be made to decay. . . say. . over 10 hours instead of five (not necessarily that number), and people would still use them, but consider other options.
Also for the realism, though that is a smaller part of the problem.
Yes, next time I see someone I like, I will just tell them were married, and TWA-la, problem solved.
It's actually easier than I thought to build a 2x2 pen, and can be done in a lifetime pretty much anywhere, so those are the only pens I make, and when I see other pens, I replace them.
While it's better to use corner fence pens in almost every scenario, I feel it's worth the LITTLE bit of ascetic, even though it can be removed, as if a greifer really wants to destroy a pen, it's not that hard regardless of materials.
That works, but Jason should not be going out of his way in order to make it easier for babies to suicide.
Yes, but this game already has it's own forums, so those will most likely stay popular, with steam forums being a ghostown:(
Another thing is that the two word key given to you when you buy the game should differ based off of account, this would prevent both advertisers and trolls.
Sorry, perhaps it is just that I do not understand how easy or hard it is to code these kind of things. I suppose I would need to learn more about the code, tho.
Maybe it doesn't decay in baskets??? That would help.
He's given a reason for not adding Flint and Steal, as it is VERY hard to use in real life or something, but really I would be willing to use anything that could substitute for juniper.
(Maybe wood shavings, though those are kinda expensive)
Like to the point where you could build a good base without a swamp or grasslands, but if you wanted to get higher tech you would have to expand to other biomes, so more like sustainable than livable.
I just think there should be other ways to survive other than relying on the swamp (and forest), throughout most of the game.
I think all of the current biomes exept badlands should be livable, and some form of water other than ponds would rock!
