Jason can create any rules he want, if he wanted to, he could make a in game feature that made any bots detected be stuck at a screen staring at a goat forever, and that would be allowed.  What I reccoment is a changing bot detection system, that might detect if the player speaks a variety of words one day, and the next if they eat bowled berries.  The people who break most out of these detection systems could be looked at by moderators, who could determine if they are bots or not, and ban said bot.

(And can we please get rid of SuperFun from he forums, she has contributed nothing, and only constantly encourages bad behavior.)

I use the yum bonus almost All the time, but I guess other people don't:(    Anyways, the yum system should be reworked to be a more crucial part of the game, as it would encourage variety (pork tacos) and add to lategame difficulty, with people working towards "better" foods.

Goose berries in real life are rather sour berries, most of the time.  They also do not provide the nutrients to live off of, much less only eat for a whole lifetime.  They are also great for the yum chain, as eating one than one in a bowl brings you up to 2 yum!  However, because of this power, many villages have lived with MASSIVE berry farms, eating almost nothing but them.
I suggest berries, and bowl berries are made as an eternal "meh" food, meaning they do not work, and break all yum chains. So while they are good early-game, they will be less useful later-game, and not be as commonly used.

Perhaps as generations go by there food quality increases, causing gooseberries to become "yuck" foods if eaten too many times, which are like meh, but restore even less food.  I think a food system like this varying with food would help ohol develop variety in many ways.

YES!!!  I CAN FINALLY GET BACK INTO THE GAME!!!

#255 Re: Main Forum » Request for an Eve Bot » 2018-09-17 02:39:54

After some deep thought, the only way I could think to get rid of bots would be a re-captcha bot test, which I belive can work natruallyinto the game by putting the "I'm not a robot" button onto the login, but I do not know much about re-captcha,
or how hard it would be to add in the game and overall, since this is only a problem in donkytown I think it is best that we ignore this problem for now and maybe get some kind of primitive bot detector for VERY basic bots (ei Running south forever) and leave this issue alone.

#256 Re: Main Forum » Request for an Eve Bot » 2018-09-17 02:00:02

I have looked up as much about Santan as I can, and other than the old random walking code you made, I did not find anything other than a bot coded to eat the nearest berry bush.  What does this bot do now and what could be done to detect it?

#257 Re: Main Forum » Request for an Eve Bot » 2018-09-17 00:04:30

Santan?  I thought that was a bot that randomly walked around

#258 Re: Main Forum » Request for an Eve Bot » 2018-09-16 23:43:46

While patterns of sorts would work, it would be very hard to program a complex enough program to let alone survive itself, much less simulate human behavior accurately at the same time.  Self learning would not work though because this is a multiplayer game, and you can't have mass amounts of bots working like that in game. (without a massive player-base and MASSIVE amounts of accounts)

#259 Re: Main Forum » Request for an Eve Bot » 2018-09-16 23:14:02

Yeah, the thing about bots is that EVERY movement for EVERY scenario has to be programmed.  I don't think you understand the meaning behind how difficult this is.

#260 Re: Main Forum » Request for an Eve Bot » 2018-09-16 23:08:43

A killing bot. . . Dude that is like impossible

A farming bot would be stupidly hard to make

#262 Re: Main Forum » N/A » 2018-09-16 21:52:28

Reed Skirt and Straw hat never decay, though that is not much of an issue.  However, aprons do not decay either, meaning once you make an apron for a town, it stays there forever.

Can someone send me a link to the discord you guys are talking about?  I would like to use that.

#264 Re: Main Forum » Auto-Clicker Bots » 2018-09-16 21:04:35

True you don't need an advanced bot, but the only form of bot I have seen is an auto-clicker, and that surly would not work with named system.  Overall, it can't hurt so why not?  It's not difficult to add or anything.

Edit:  Going back to what you said about "image recognition" you would need a much more complicated click-bot, that would probably need to be self programmed, or made for said purpose, to walk around and click on nearest berry bushes, than itself, which would repel greifers for some time, as there is no such click-bot available at the moment.

#265 Re: Main Forum » Breeding dogs = griefing » 2018-09-16 21:01:21

I was not in the winter town, but it was inevitable.  Knowing that you're village is going to fall to dogs is just stupid, anyways.  I think i'm taking a break until dogs stop there nonsense.

#266 Re: Main Forum » Donkey town » 2018-09-16 20:58:47

Yeah, we get it, just put an auto-clicker on the start button. . . Very simple.  Image recognition is a whole different story though, and MUCH more complex.

#267 Re: Main Forum » Breeding dogs = griefing » 2018-09-16 18:40:36

Sorry, I am a "Goddamn teenager" and perhaps I shouldn't of done it, but I figured the town would get overwhelmed by them anyways, and other people were feeding them, so decided to join in.

Also that last part is quite unnecessary.

#268 Re: Main Forum » N/A » 2018-09-16 18:37:14

Together, we will start the Skirt Cult!

#269 Re: Main Forum » Game Mechanics need to be reworked » 2018-09-16 18:36:13

THANK YOU.  I disagree about tree farming though, as that fixed the non renewability of saplings.

#270 Re: Main Forum » Auto-Clicker Bots » 2018-09-16 18:28:01

The point of it is that without some kind of advanced bot, that probably is not worth the time to make for these trolls, it will stop pretty much all of them.  It would be very easy to program (I think) and would solve a lot.

I was thinking of recording your imagur vid, but it isn't worth the time.

Also its more than that, as people can do this when they are NOT in donkeytown, and have a click-bot baby that can ruin the game anyways.

While this has not been a problem in the past, with the arrival of Donkytown Auto-Clicker bots can be used as an easy escape, as you can just put an auto-clicker to do the work for you.  Eventually, whether accidental or not, these auto-clicker bots could leave Donkytown, and mess with people in the main servers.  As  such, I have a solution that hopefully will be able to fix such a problem.

If a person plays five games in a row without eating anything, their tab will automatically shut down, which will have to be reopened, which bots cannot do.  However, to prevent advanced auto-clickers if you do FIFTY runs without eating anything, your curse score will be brought up by eight, making it so that only the most advanced autoclicker bots can work, and even those will be stuck in Donkytown forever, where auto-clickers will be birthed to auto-clickers:)

How did you get so many reeds?

#273 Re: Main Forum » N/A » 2018-09-16 16:02:42

Talk about bad luck, so many noobs.

#274 Re: Main Forum » Breeding dogs = griefing » 2018-09-16 15:58:43

I decided to start a dogpocolypse for the lolz yesterday, and GOSH was it overwhelming.  It's hard NOT to feed them mutton when you know they will be fed soon anyways, and they absolutely took over the town.  I'm saying there were 50 or so dogs before I died, and that number is growing.

#275 Re: Main Forum » Donkey town » 2018-09-16 14:12:23

I used to kill occasionally, when a village annoyed me too much but now I am staying away from that, I don't want to go to donkeytown (though I have never been cursed)
