That is private right? Since I still choose who can get access and who not?

The concept of public can be widely found in existing legal situations.

The behavior you said is well known for being public since you gave it random guys from public world, without censoring.

Thus if you share songs and movies randomly in your way, you will get accused obviously.

And one thing more, unlike computer code, in legal code, intention matters.
Court is the place where they judge what was your intention behind what you did.

The right to access main server is not same to the copyright, but at least you should become not confused with the concept of public.

Obviously no one of us are legal experts, so if you seriously have decided to sue jason for fraud, never trust any advices in this forum.

#2 Re: Main Forum » Best crops and setup for sprinklers? » 2020-07-21 07:34:28

For mentioning crops, the worst are carrots and cabbages i think.

Ppl like to sew them but they are not harvested at proper moment and become seeds.

Tomato and cucumbers are not proper too since they require one step more before harvesting, though they are not bad as carrots and cabbages are.

Wheat and milkweeds also take time after being harvested, which delay the next step.

Berry bush, corn, pepper, bean, onion, squash... i think those are perfect for rows with sprinkler.

I lastly found that radio can be a translator machine.
It is why people usually install radio transmitter and receiver closely.

When I understood writing paper can translate without knowing radio can do as well,
I thought the people have various spoken languages but share the writing system.

It was weird so I needed an explanation for it so I found a similar example. Chinese.
Chinese people have different languages by regions, but they share a mutual intelligible writing system.
So they can communicate each other with writing papers even they don't learn other region's language, if my understanding is correct. i'm not chinese,

So I made a hypothesis that the language system of OHOL world is an homage of Chinese.
However the fact about radio leads me to think the hypothesis is wrong.

So far, we've thought communication via a paper is one of feature... but in fact it was a glitch?
If it's not a glich, how can we understand other's language only if we use pencil and radio?

Sorry in advance if this topic will lead to more restriction.

i'd not like to curse new people.
but it's painful that our gene score is easily affected by out-of-game events such as noobs-flooding by steam sales, hell-updates like the food update and the gliching west march.
best strategy is not to play the game in the period, instead of adapting the situation.

I confirmed the code.
As you said if the number of enemies is larger than the number of allies they can solo kill.

Geez. Idk what happen when i was in the situation.

Obviously It was lucky for me. I had seen one case where it worked properly.

Btw in my understanding, it’s not complicated.

As far as i know if a evil leader is trying to solo kill an innocent person, we can help the innocent by following him/her as it makes required posse size two.

Would you share ur experience?

Ok.. it seems i tried to understand it too simply.
Maybe we require to experiment to understand the mechanism without reading code...

I was born in a town of shallow well stage.

I got a daughter just after being fourteen years old. And soon I had four more kids and I had to be a baby sitter literally. Few of them were noobs so I had to be teacher too.

The first daughter wanted me to unfollow the leader and to follow her. I did so because i was too busy to care my kids and my first daughter helped me to care the kids.

Besides she said the leader seems like griefer. Well, I didn’t trust that.

After few minutes I finally had free time to see around and I found the original leader is hard worker. He kept farming without saying. So I just quietly followed the original leader and my first daughter didn’t notice me.

At the moment the number of ally for my first daughter was nearly ten because my kids and her kids had followed her automatically, while the original leader had nearly six. I was bb machine.

The daughter started to persuade random people to unfollow the original leader cuz he looks like Bobo. I said he doesn’t look like Bobo so asked her to say why she thinks so. Even in the moment the leader was working hard saying nothing.

She said nonsense and exiled one of my daughter who is new that i hardly taught how to eat stew, and killed her. She just started to kill her followers bcuz she can only kill them.

I felt guilty of giving her leadership carelessly, so i decided to change the situation. I persuaded her followers to follow the original leader, or at least unfollow one by one. Every time i shift right click her i could see the required posse size decreasing.

After the last follower unfollowed her, her badge changed to the same color with me. I thought she followed me so I just exiled her and shift right clicked... but it said she has ten enemies but has six allies.

I was embarrassed but finally figured out i was following the original leader and she started to follow the original leader too so she still had allies. So i asked the original leader to exile her and now she had no allies and we could execute her.

It was exciting moment that the new leadership system finally worked properly to defend our town.

I can’t forget the moment when she begged for forgiveness. She was saying “I’m sorry. I will not do again. Please forgive me.” A guy of my group said “It ain’t church”. The word punched and some people said they can’t stop lmao bcuz they can’t forget “it ain’t church”.

We were in chaos for ten minutes to execute her but thanks to the original leader who didn’t stop making foods and farming, we did not starve. The auto elected leader was the best obviously among the town.

Two days ago,

I was a member of white family.

And at the moment people were like potatoes and didn’t work except few people. No stew was in town. Although we are running out of water, the geopolitics made us impossible to have rubber, and our town had no horses.

So I wanted to find leader to demand him to organize our family.

But when I say slash leader it said a brown guy is leader of ours.
Literally we faced a situation having no leader in the town.
No one could order, no one could encourage noobs/griefers to work at the moment.
And currently we agreed we should not follow somebody who ask to follow themselves.

I had to ask my family to follow my mom because she was apparent hard worker on the town. Finally I did it, but, in the way, few followed me not my mom, few wanted to be queen without working.

My point is if we start to follow a lord in another town, another family,
it is not easy to have a leader of my town.

So I hope the auto leader election system excludes other family.
Additionally I am satisfied to the auto leader election system, it generally works rationally.

So the eve spawn was changed to kick new eves out into fresh territory.   As a direct result, the westward march has been significantly accelerated, so long-lived families get left behind even faster and new Eves spawn in new land that is increasingly distant from earlier settlements.

That would be perfectly fine ... if we did not have race restrictions.   Or if race restrictions were changed to allow independent town development instead of forcing late-game interactions.   Or if we only needed one neighbor instead of multiple neighbors.

Perfect analysis i think. The intent was coping what people needed but the result is worse, because of the other factors like the design choice about tech. Now once a family fails then the oldest town always get the biggest penalty on the cost to communicate to the new family, while the inter-race communication is forced by the game design.

In fact, the west march problem can be mitigated if players get more experience and improve the meta. (If every eve player always find new settlement moving eastward then actually it would be better than ever before), so I wanna point the other problem that never been mentioned in this forum.

The thing that I am worried of is that the current algorithm is too vulnerable.
If one eve settle moving westward then next eve will spawn nearby there.
If the eve is picky so she moves west 1k meters, finding the location of the best, then the next eve will have no option to settle nearby old town.
This happens even if a guy rides a horse and goes west 10k during his life and makes a well site.

The recent change not only accelerated to the west march but also gave griefers more strategies to ruin what people has established.

#13 Re: Main Forum » Remove Family Speciality » 2020-05-22 09:47:16

Actually I really like the family speciality feature.

White has strength on trading.
Brown has much more options for foods.
Black has unique access in laboratory.
And all know ginger is the most essential in the end game.

I like to play based on this speciality, especially when i born as a male.
For example, when i play as trader, i always go trade for other families first. After mission is done, i take things for my family.
It makes me feel i’m in role playing.

Btw it seems quite many people don’t like to play in this kind of playing style.

I cant understand them. I just want to support this feature.
