I'm curious about this, too.
I keep waiting and check the update log.
If Jason is too busy to update, I wish him to write a notice on the news board.

Have you ever seen an altar of three adobe walls?
They seemed kind at first.
They built an altar and said it was for God.
It was in the middle of the town, so it interrupted traffic, but young girls opinion was ignored.
The village needed workers, but they were only preoccupied with making altars and praying.
And constantly ate berries and drained the stew pot.

Finally i told them plz work! and they shouted me heretical!!
Then he took my baby and killed her in front of the altar.
They said It's for God. Everything is God's will.

In my eyes, they're just crazy... or looked like a group of griffers.
I've seen these altars before and didn't know what they were. now I know...

I agree with this opinion.

And If you have a knife, you should periodically check the pen or kitchen and kill sheep.

If you hid the only knife in your bag and you were so engrossed in other things that you made the twon starve... you're griffer.

Yes! I want more cook!! We can use potato or beaf pork... wolf and bear meat!!

I really like the new expression of emotion! And I envy an Asian in Mobile. I wish we had Asian characters.

#7 Re: Main Forum » So... why do people think breeding pigs over sheep is better?! » 2019-03-13 02:37:14

Wool can be clothing, pad, and ball of needle.
Sheep dung is essential to make a compost.
Pies made from lamb are portable and efficient.
I like pigs too, but there are few pigs in use

Can only a few specific users use it? It's a public server and anyone should be able to use it if they want to. Even if there's no particular reason.

I remember reading post that a new player who came up recently couldn't tell the difference between mutton and pork,
and he or she looking for a knife to remove bones attached to pork.
mutton and pork... There was a lot of demands, but only one bone was attached. It looks pretty similar.
Can you tell the difference between salt water and water and copper sulfate with your eye?
Can you tell nine candles from ten? They even have the same name. Candle set.
Hot candles and just candles.
Palm Kernels and grilled Palm Kernels and Cooked Pork.
cabbage seeds and rose seeds and gooseberry seeds
Some objects look the same without being able to interact with each other.
We can sort it out more easily with different color or shape

I used to live in Bob twon, where only Bob lived.
I think it's probably the same mother.
How stupid. Countless innocent bobs were killed and cursed.
Maybe she did it on purpose because she was a griffer.
Anyway, I had the same experience yesterday.

Killed by idiot mother and a stupid grandmother.
My mom came back to the eve camp and told her my son Bob was a griffer, and I agreed in her arm.
You were there then eve ga.
This stupid eve brought a snowball and killed me, the only girl. How stupid..

I love roleplaying mom.
And I love who tells me where the essential resources are and what the village needs.

The worst mother is the one who leaves me in front of the fire without even giving name.
I was forgotten by everyone and died warm, shouting F.

#13 Re: Main Forum » The village almost starved because it was overrun with pork. » 2019-02-21 20:21:15

Im pig farmer for taco and puppies. And im afraid Noob will go through it,
so I'm always trying to make it a separate place from the sheep's ranch, but I'm sorry to hear that.
Bacon! Sausage! Hamburger! I hope so.
I think the color of pork and mutton should be different. Pink or red...

#14 Re: Main Forum » Jungle Town gives you free heat with no door! ultimate guide + pic » 2019-02-20 08:54:18

I like a room in the desert because I can maintain the temperature without a fire.
But the jungle is scary. I hate mosquitoes...

OP likes to rush farms. I however like to delay farms and focus on clothes. With clothes you can half the food consumption from your people -> natural food last much longer / berries have time to regrow, People have more time to work and need to worry less about eating all time, you also only need half the amount of farms to feed the same amount of people! -> again, frees up more worktime.

I think to start both  are good, however next generations will maybe have a hard time if they have not enough clothes. They will put most of their worktime into creating food so that they don't starve the next 5min. This leaving much less time to advance.

I think clothes have become important with this update.
I tend to leave hunting and iron ore to my family.
Next time I am Eve camp, if you are my son or bro, I will depend on you.

Have you ever seen aperson mudered by a snowball in real life?
Common sense is that this doesn't make sense.
Snow Ball murder looked like there was no Debuff.
Snowball occurs infinitely and the person who throws it doesn't slow down or paralyze.
victim dies immediately and cannot curse the perpetrator or warn the family about the murder.
have to die slowly, as if were wounded by an animal or a weapon. And we need to be able to heal it.
I think it's better to stay in a warm place.
It's strange that we can survive being stabbed or bitten by a wolf, but we can't cure a snowball wound.

Green beans and popcorn are not for filling your stomach, but for yam.
The main purpose is stew.

game still hard. It's really annoying.
But I found the tip through a few eve plays.
Im writing on the assumption that you were a good eve before the update.

When you settle down, you have to consider a lot of water, a lot of soil, and specialy maaaany food.
Generation 1 ,2  should start farming as soon as possible. There is no time.
If you are an adult, leave food near the camp for children or mother.
Find out where little away from home and have lots of food and fill your stomach.
It is also important to go far away from home and gather food before the first harvest.

I think it's something that everyone has done before the update.

Forget about Barry. Plant carrots.
because carrot yields fast.
If first farm, don't wait for the seeds.
It would be better to run to Savannah and bring some carrot seeds full of basket.
Continue planting the carrots, harvest and put them in the basket.

If you and your family were competent when the carrot baskets were piled up, they would be making omelets.
Now go to Savannah. It's time to find corn and soy seeds.
You'd better go back two or three times.
Dry the corn and make about two or three popcorns, and expand the corn farm.
Similarly, the bean seed crop is left behind and the green beans are harvested to secure food.
Don't forget to keep planting carrots.
Now it's time to find the pumpkin seeds. If you have a rabbit hunter in your family, bring wheat seeds.

Make pots and stews to secure adult meals.
Now you can plant berries.
Because Berry is a great emergency food and it is necessary to make lamb and conposts.
You don't have a sheep? It's time to make a sheep ranch.
But if you are a first or second generation, you will soon grow old and die.

And don't forget to do all the above, find a pro boy or man,
ask him for rabbit hunting and iron ore collection.

In summary, use water and soil for carrot farming.
And eat popcorn and green beans while making stew.
The foods we've forgotten before.

I understand Jason's intention is not to bore the game.
I know there are a lot of self-proclaimed flying masters in the forum.
But why are the noobs that I meet in the game that can't last 10 minutes?
Why is my gaming community full of noobs suffering from updates?

I understand how you feel FlyingAboo, I feel like this game has changed really dramatically and for the worst with this new update. It was done with little consideration to how the majority of the player base, casual players, would feel about it and I personally feel like it was done with either minimal or no play testing at all. I understand wanting clothes and buildings to play a role, but this was not the right way to go about doing it. The game isn't as fun as it was before.

Its a real shame because it really felt like it had so much potential.  But I guess I should have read more reviews on Steam before I fell victim to the Youtube hype.  Allot of them clearly warn that this game should be beta or better yet early access.

My hope is that Jason will realize his mistake and his next update does something to either reverse this or add something in to balance it all out. My advice to you is to not give up on this game just yet and wait like the rest of us for the next update.

I agree with your opinion.
I introduced this game a lot to people who enjoy it and they were interested.
Most of them are noob, which is about a week old.
But update on Friday and a lot of users are paying back or giving up the game.
Some friends said they would give up until the entry barrier was lowered and I felt lonely and sad.

Re-balancing the temperature mechanic so deserts were too hot and jungles were not perfectly warm was a necessary change and probably should have happened much sooner.   But there is a reason why no one was building cold camps when they had the option to build warmer ones.   The options available to slow hunger loss in a cold environment are not adequate and there is no "mild" climate anywhere.   I don't want a perfect temperature haven, like jungle use to be.   However, there should be a LESS cold area for early camps to settle while they establish the basics for survival.   Eve camps should be hard .. and they ARE hard.   Even before this update.     Anyone who thinks otherwise has been playing the game so long they can't remember what it was like to be new and naked and alone.

If it was up to me, I would re-balance the biome temperature scale so Desert and Tundra are equally deadly, like they are right now.   And I would make jungle and badlands uncomfortably hot and bitterly cold, like they are now.    But I would REDUCE the cold in grasslands, swamps and prairie so when you are running around naked in these biomes you lose only half as much per second.   Not ideal temp.  Still good benefit from clothing and buildings.   But you have more breathing room to set down your babies while you gather materials or get a fire started.  Enough time to stop and talk to your first kid so you can make a quick plan on who is doing what next.  Eventually, you will need to venture out into the more extreme biomes to gather necessary resources, like iron and flat rocks and sheep.   Getting clothes will be important.  Making structures will be useful.  But you won't be constantly on the brink of freezing so long as you watch where you wander and avoid obviously dangerous-looking biomes.   It would help newer players adapt and learn the game.  It would make logical sense and be fairly intuitive, even if you don't understand the math behind the temperature mechanic.  There would not need to be crazy heat shock to keep people away from deserts or tundra.   The starvation rate will teach people to stay clear all by itself and no one is going to be camping in a desert if they know what's good for them.

I agree with you.
Now I think Berry Meta is done.
Because berries are easy to manage, they can be good emergency food and sheep food.

By playing a few times, I found that carrots are more useful than berries in eve camps.
and quickly opened a stew farm and obtained leather and meat from hunting to make pies.

I love those useless noobs.
It's worth teaching them.
I was also not good at first, and I was a useless person who ate only.
There's a time when everyone did it.
What's important is that if we don't take care of noob, this game will end up ruined.

Eve needs to farm.
It's a matter of course Otherwise, what are the kids and Eve eating and surviving until they're 60?
Bananas and wild gooseberry eggs are limited resources.
No matter how many wild foods are in place, the house must always have food to survive in the long run.
I doubt if you've ever played a game yourself.
