Oh, I thought the joke is those sites take dumps on games and stuff.
They have good reads lol
You could always set up your own as an alt account, right?

Edit:
But, now that you have me looking, I found some gems!

NEOgaf

RadioActiveLobster:
"Note to self, don't give Jason Rohrer any money.
Now instead of a possible purchase during a sale you now get a guaranteed no purchase."

Wickerbasket:
"If your game doesn't sell well until a sale then maybe it wasn't worth full price to begin with."

Archaix:
"None of his games have been a hit, and his last game was a direct order DS game where all the carts were shipped from his house."

Imperial Hot:
"It was cool and definitely art, but it wasn't a game.
It was a "hold the right button down" simulator."

Why bring it up and not link?
We are all just going to google it ourselves now anyway.
Thanks for this awesome read!

Not sure what to do to help us? When there are an ENDLESS SEA OF SUGGESTION BOARDS AND TOPICS ON IDEA ON HOW TO HELP US?

Right.

One I haven't seen yet;
A weapon that only works on someone who is slowed down due to murder.
Please.
We need this.
Everyone NEEDS THIS!

Then everyone can carry said weapon around with them in case someone steals the sheep knife and murders LITERALLY the entire town.
What this does?
- Scares Griefers
- Another thing for people to craft
- It can decay as well, providing a new job for people
- Provides a means to kill someone AFTER they have started their killing
- Cannot be used as a mass killing weapon itself
- If the people agree on the killing, no one gets killed by this weapon because no one will use it on the person

What is it going to take for you to add something to this game? Should we start a go-fund-me and if we raise $100 you'll add something?
The streams I have been watching are even getting worse and worse everyday. Playing in a large civs always leads to killing. Without a reason.

I am in Laugh's streams A LOT and I share the same pain and frustration as he does.

"Greatly Hobbled"
What? How if we don't have another knife because we are too afraid to make one because of killers?
How if someone hides the arrows or bows?
How if the griefer puts their own lock on the boxes or houses before the correct person does?

Ways to grief? 100s
Ways to protect? Very very very VERY few, if any.

- Add armor
- Add double stabbing needed, chance of one hit KO
- Add meds/bandages
- How about ways to strengthen what we do have so we can work to prevent other forms of griefing other than murder?
- Have the knife/arrows get stuck in the person that was attacked
- Dogs/Guard animals
- Every single other post/thread on this forum, ever.

Jason, what do you want?

Edit:
And I would like to add that you expect everyone playing to be able to communicate correctly in order to prevent all this griefing in a game that when you blink, your life is over. That there are limited amounts of words you can say at a time. That there is no TIME to stand around talking because if you let the bushes languish too long then you will not have enough food and the civ will die out. There also needs to be better ways to communicate. And better storage as well as a way to protect said storage. There is so much to do.

Communication in this game is probably the worst, right next to griefing.

about right.
I still don't know why there isn't a beta with updates on like server 2 or something.
I don't know if jason realizes the amount of players he loses permanently without one. 14000 people owning it and less than 100 coming back each week....
I wouldn't be surprised if it end up dead in a month the way things are going

I have been saying this for awhile.
Jason needs to have a server where he rolls out updates for testing before making them public.
People seem to think there is an increase of players because "the game is getting better!" or "this game is great!" but in reality, they see "update", come to try it, realize the game got HARDER, and then leave again.

So eclipciz, I think your full of shit. Your actually the perfect example of the self righteous griefers I mentioned. I have read your thread about killing and the first few lines was you admitting to killing civs for fun.

It's already been mentioned that it's still griefing because you've ruined other peoples game. You represent one of the worst parts of the community, How'd of you liked it of you got killed for being new back when you started playing. Why should people that have killed for fun in the past and likely still do get to dictate a village.

Not only that but you hinder productive people too. How are they going to make any progress when there's a mass murderer killing half your village every few hours. I think at that point most of them would be more worried about stopping or avoiding you then making the next batch of pies.

If you want to save the village like you.claim to. Stop crafting knives and contribute. Go out of collect what the village needs, Teach someone useful skills.

People aren't going to learn anything if you kill them. They will just say "Oh, Another griefer" and move on to the next town.

And the people on discord agreeing with you means nothing. Most of them are griefers from what I've seen.

This.

Instead of killing off too many people in a larger city, or killing someone because they did something wrong by accident or do not know what they are doing, help fix the problem.
Need food? Go get some. Tend the farms, get some sheep.
Someone lost the tools? Go make some more.
Someone accidentally mess up pies? Teach them.

These people who dont know how to play or make accidents WILL come back, even though you do not know who they are. Killing them does NOT solve your problem.
The reason food runs out is because someone doesnt take up a proper job (or not enough people do) and it all runs out because no one is paying attention. Instead of killing off everyone, be the guy who steps up and fixes the food issue.

The only time I justify killing is if its an actual griefer/murder or if there are too many babies being born too quickly. Sometimes babies pop up one after another and there is just NO WAY to actually feed them all that quickly.

Boys are just broken girls in this game. They offer no advantage.

Stops overpopulation in larger cities. Guys can go adventure out without having to worry about a kid showing up too. AND if they are needed for baby raising, they can handfeed the kids.

I would advise watching Twitch streams and asking for advice there.
There is a small group of us almost always in the Twitch streamers chats. Come join if you need anything.

Calling him out and proving what he did is wrong is not going to stop him.
If we are lucky, Jason will listen. Right? Rigghhtttt?

Hm.

I think Jason said that the game is growing. Maybe they are new?

Personally, I think it is simply the concept of something new to the game.
People who left the game are coming in hopes to try the new grave update and will quickly be killed down and then leave.
The update is drawing in these people because it is new and shiny, thus creating more players who are going to die quickly (hence your children not surviving.)

Give it about a week or two and the numbers will crash again when they realize the graves do not add much to the game and that the game is now even more hard because of the milkweed update.
