I made a suggestion post for this here.
I propose the ability to remove a curse that you placed on someone.
Key reasons:
-The "Curse You" command has been known to curse the wrong person on occasion.
-If someone did something worth cursing in the past, but you find them working hard for the family in another life, there should be a chance to forgive someone that is trying to do better.
-People have the power to potentially boot someone away from them for 30 days, but cannot forgive them of this fate.
-A cursed individual should have the chance to redeem themselves.
-An exiled person may be redeemed, but not a cursed person.
Suggested features for this process:
-Obviously you should only be able to remove the curse which you placed on someone.
-If an individual is un-cursed, the black username should become purple, or some other color, for the remainder of the thirty days, so that you may still keep an eye out for them.
-The un-curse should be a "/command" which does not display publicly that they have been redeemed. If the cursed person was not initially aware that they were cursed, and you un-curse them publicly, they may curse you out of revenge for the initial curse. Furthermore, a cursed individual would then not be able to bully you until they can see that they were un-cursed. (Bullying examples: Following you around and picking up everything you try to use, framing you for griefing etc)
-This should be a given, but un-cursing should not return your curse token early. For example, someone says "Curse You," and it hits the wrong person. You would be able to un-curse that person, but would not get your curse token back until it would normally come back.

I had 2 curses I would have revoked cause wasn't that big of a deal but in the heat of the moment seemed right
mr xix was a bit of a dick putting my horse in a jungle while he blocked the new brown families
and another lady constantly shearing every sheep then refusing to feed only the lambs, I met her several times in a row, she wasn't a griefer, more like an overactive noob, quite a dirty mouth tho
I got cursed out of the blue by someone potentially mistaking me with someone else but anyway still dumb to hold up the grudge over lives since I did not grief, they griefed me, was some bullshit about them not letting me cook the rubber then running around with the cart of raw rubber so really dumb stuff for no reason,, even talking with them was pointless.
I don't agree with blessings butt I would be fine with nullifying curses

Yes, I would want to have uncurses too. Last time this issue was posted on github, Jason said something like "just be careful who you curse".
It shouldn't be about being careful IMO, by cursing someone you saying "I don't want to play with you". But if you mistakenly cursed someone with who you actually want to play, you should be able to undo it.
People aren't perfect, it's like not having ctrl+z shortcut in computers :D

negative interactions are true, it can be a bad day or frustration, or anything but people say what they think
positive interactions can be fake, especially online when they can stay Anonim
think of this way: if you could stack up positive points, you could use them to do negative things for free.
pretend to be a nice person for one hour then you could get away with your bullshit for a half-hour? especially if you only need to convince people until you "get paid", once they blessed you, you could just ignore them, kill them or grief them, they already said you are a nice person.
you can already see players like this, they are nice with their newbie daughters, all of them are told to bury her, in meantime she is a big asshole to her sons and everyoen else nI the camp, stealign stuff, luring bears, etc.

lol sounds like you made a lot of bad experiences...
in my suggestion blessings would not replace curses. so if curses hinder you to spawn close, you still cant spawn close with tons of blessings.
also since for blessings you would need to do some effort like creating graves with a flat stone at least and give some food, others have the chance to stop them doing the "blessing" or undo it.
I would find it also interesting if curses need some efford to do. like for example creating a "cursed grave" through putting a flat stone on the bone pile. Others can then add to the curse through putting a round stone to it.

How about instead of that, we make it so every 7 days you need to "renew" the curse you made on someone.
If what they did wasn't memorable after 7 days you can just let the time limit run out and they will be able to spawn near you again. But if not you have the potential to renew their curse 4 separate times over 30 days.
In short alot of people dont think when they curse, a system like this would help that by asking them "are you sure what this person did is bad enough to be cursed for another week?"
1,280 pips just by Making Pork Tacos, Possible 2,500 pips just by hunting turkeys, and yet, somehow, yall still eating berries, bruh.

4 x 7 = 28 days i think
hmm maybe if you count the fist its 5 x 7 = 35 days... too much math, better i do something else...
are you sure this person was bad enough to curse for another 3650 days? option from the game: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAs
Lol, remembered when i was taking care of the sheeps and then some one came and killed all sheep except one. when i came back my little in game brother who was a pro, at least more pro then me got angry at me why i killed nearly all the sheep, since it takes much longer to make new one....
while we are talking one came and killed the last sheep exactly next to us. i guess my little brother cursed him very much for 3650 days. at least that should be the punishement for killing the last sheep....
this game is really funny....

I don't want to keep thinking about a bad thing that happened to me a week ago. I just want a way to say "Oops, I made a mistake" and fix it if I curse someone and then find out later on that they had a good reason for killing that guy or breaking that thing or whatever.
Even when we could freely kill people, I rarely killed. Even if we had unlimited curse tokens, I would rarely curse. So cursing without thinking about it first is not the problem for me. Rather, the issue is that you do not always get the whole story in a single life and sometimes you only realize later that you misjudged someone's actions because you were missing important context.
Like that that you are both trying to make tacos with the same supplies.

well if the sheep are naked, then they have to be killed, otherwise they can re-feed it and waste the food, this is more true now, even if you just cook mutton and don't do pies, it's still free food compared to no food
if they are not sheared, then I understand, it's damn frustrating.
one time I tried to get clothes, but other guy fed some sheep too, I wouldn't mind if he takes some, but he took all the fleece, and sheared all of them every time, I had to wait the timer to have lambs, and he sheared them again, with 3 wooly sheep you can get 3 lambs, then make your clothing 3x faster, he ignored that he is ruining my work so I stabbed him

I still feel bad about sending a good player to donkey town because of a misunderstanding.
In my town, there was a ginger getting oil. I was brown but spent almost all my life in ginger town, bringing stuff from old towns and getting rubber materials. Suddenly noticed that they got an engine but think nothing about it. When I go back to my town as an elder I noticed that our engine had been stolen and our sheep slaughtered. I feel bad for the ginger getting oil as we no longer have an engine to use it on. I see an old ginger come to forge in a horse and at first thing nothing of it but see him destroying the Multipurpose Newcomen Engine. The first thing I thought was that he was going to steal it so I grab what I can so he cannot put it in his horse. Then he goes and grabs the latex so I panicked and cursed him before he steals anymore. Other people join me and we chase him out of town.
I see him going east to the oil rig instead of north to ginger town and that is when the horrible realization struck me. He didn't want to steal the Newcomen, just took the rubber tire to get a last oil tank before dying. He didn't want to steal the latex and sulfur but to show us that we had enough materials to make more rubber. He didn't even seem to get angry when we chased him. I felt so bad, I started clearing the misunderstanding with my people but it was too late. An innocent that served all this life our town had been cursed.
I really wish there was a way to eliminate a curse you give somebody in the heat of the moment. Also, the language restriction doesn't help.

lol, taking care of sheeps for sure is one of the most dangerous jobs in OHOL...

it looks more and more for me, that curses are far to easy to make for the power they have. killing some one can be quite tricky, cursing seems to be lot easier and does lot more harm.
Added here a suggestion for a cursed grave to make it more challanging to curse and more rewarding to catch someone:

lol, got my first curse by walking by accident close to one who said the game told him to try out: "I curse you" Wrong time wrong place....
forgiveness would be really great!

With all the negativity lately, this system is definitely warranted.

Yea forgiveness would be good. There's a curse tag I often run into that's doing helpful things when I see them.
A blessing system would be good too, just so I can identify people who are useful, helpful or knowledgeable. Especially given the recent leadership system changes.
