In a game where you can only hold one item in your hands, spoon is using the logic that if one didn't have a moral issue with baby bones, they would simply hold them for 2 minutes.

Ha, this is hilarious! Not one single person held SIDS baby and was like, shucks this is a moral dilemma.

Yeah, rereading his comment he seriously suggests that ppl hold the baby bones for 2 whole minutes lol. Literally noone does that. If they did they wouldn't have very much success since the baby bones first start decaying when on the ground. So you can hold the baby bones for the rest of your life and they still wouldn't decay.

I have a feeling that the "people" he thinks has a problem with this are theoretical and non-existent.

I'm just wondering why someone who is so staunchly against the metoo movement, gives a shit at all on the 'morals' of a.fucking.game.

I have a feeling that you're ignoring that people dislike throwing baby bones on the ground, because you want to insist such is a 'non-issue', instead of having to admit it as an issue.

I've yet to see anyone complain about that. JonySky complained about kids suiciding on you in general being annoying, which I can definitely see as annoying, but is not related to thinking that it's 'oh so terrible' to dump some baby bones on the floor in the moral sense.

So who are these "people" that have an issue with dumping baby bones on the floor out of a sense of morality, because I haven't seen a single one. Give me an example, I'm waiting.

I didn't use the term 'moral' in what I wrote originally.  Again, I talked about how the game design doesn't respect players:

The game design also doesn't respect players, because it tries to force them into accepting whatever situation they end up in and penalizes other people if players born don't like playing in some situation (baby bones from /die), instead of trying to let players choose what situation they want to be in and then deal with it.

You agree that such suiciding is annoying.  I don't see how you have been respected by the baby bones in the game, and I think you have been disrespected by such.  I also don't think you have been respected by the suiciding.  I don't blame the suicidal players.  I blame the stupid system which doesn't give them meaningful control over where to start.

Re: A different take on on shelters: energy bar

stop your stupid shit in other peoples topic

I just presented a way to make shelters more important and become a base for upcoming updates
talk about that or start a new topic on how immoral is holding or not holding virtual baby bones

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

Probably new people.    You know, before the shock of tiny baby skeletons has completely worn off.   For some reason the tiny skull seems to unnerve them.

When I get a new player who is interested in being taught, I will do my best to explain the basics of village life.  It feels like I always get interrupted by at least two or three other babies, and half of them SIDS.

If I am in the middle of a long explanation, sometimes I'll just hold onto the dead baby and wait.  And wait ... Eventually, my student asks me about my new baby.   I try to come up with a different answer each time.   It is pretty hilarious.

"Umm ... is your baby okay, mom?"
"Yes, honey.   She is just sleeping.   Such a good baby.   She never cries."
"Oh ... uh ... okay."

One time I kept hugging that stupid dead baby for forty years.   I'd ask my son to feed me when my hunger dipped too low.  And then go back to teaching him about pies, sheep, and gooseberries.

Gotta find your amusement where you can in this game.

Re: A different take on on shelters: energy bar

When it comes to heat bonus I suggest something to carry babies for mothers, bag / shawl. Baby would have heat bonus from mom.

As for beds, it seems to me like more repeating and not enjoyable stuff just to be able to do the work.
