Barbarians would be a form of AI, settle closeby and send out fighters to kill your villagers, they would have different move patterns
but they could not enter trough doors, so walling the city would block them to enter
they would have building materials guarded as adobe, and stacked up straight shafts
a campfire, walls, some carrot or simply they wouldnt need to eat
You could send out people to kill them, at least people would have another target to kill, not themselves

I think it would be good for a custom server but shouldn't be a main part of the game.

Based on the game's main concept, I don't see that as a possibility. It won't feel like every human is a player that way.
It's more fun if such a camp was player made, and its people were players.
