Pein do you find this a good design?
If not do you have any blueprint of proper city design?
Smith is in the spot where Composting and Wheat have to be. (between kitchen, berries, and carrots)
stone construction building is in the place where the kitchen has to be ( next to sheep pen)
carrots are far from sheep pen.
corn is far from stew place but also far from Cows.

Killing a griefer kills him for 10 minutes, Cursing him kills him for 90 Days.
4 curses kill him for all of us, Mass Cursing bring us Peace! Please Curse!

No i don't
exact blueprints do not, but my forts were pretty decent. Ever since i saw how both forts changed to city, learned that you need extra space for baby zone, cemetery, or they will make some
also, you will get tons of new items i active city and you can't really hold it organized so to be scalable, you need to plan ahead
the other things are those which aren't meta yet, or not fully
people should plant trees, much more than this needed, pine for firewood 8 per hour, for butt logs even more can be used
i would start with making a road between the two wells, this would make easier for the people to navigate and less pressure on the tech makers
everything goes to shit when some people need to focus on tech meanwhile idiots plant and build stuff all around
i don't understand why the well is in middle of berry farm, truly don't
it's a water deposit you can't interact with directly
when is a shallow well, you take out max 60-80 bowls of water hats it.
from that point on, you use the buckets, and i don't think you can't move 3 tiles with a bucket, instead of building everything right on top of the well
was the same with ponds, people plant bushes around ponds. Then they can't put down shit. At the times when desert edges were op, some people still preferred proximity over the heat bonus. I understand 20 tiles, but is it really so hard to move 4-5 tiles to water?
Cant just keep the well there?, then put cisterns anywhere, possibly between 4 wells?
Also, is boring, the most commonly made thing, and annoys me cause people think it has to be like that
I really don't like when people plant bushes randomly when you need tools or cisterns, berries are permanent, it's a decision that hard to be changed later.
Same goes for graves, really don't put them together so tight and don't ever put them next to a wall or randomly in city.
The kilns are not town centre, generally the baby zone is or the oven. So maybe use one kiln on middle, the double kilns need more space and nothing around it, no bushes, no stew, no garbage, trees, clay and iron, tools, that's it
Fast roads in city? no one needs it, it annoys most people, and does who enjoy them never work anyway, especially no point of fast road in front of doors, and between 2 walls so close
the stew plants should be much further out as beans are the worst
i placed pens next to the spring, as the pen guarantees that you got soil, the spring brings water. Then you got 4 sides, if you place it as corner of city, then just two, so you make the pen on the less useful side, possibly with an exit which you can close from inside, just to dump out bones take them out of town.
This leaves you with 2 straight sides, one is the oven, other is the berry field, diagonal baby zone. This is a good setup for start, a full square, to keep the new players at right places. Now baby zone can get messy, so you need storage space near it. Also, the bones have to be able to go outside the fence.
I see no point of having 3 gates, and most of this big fence isn't used for anything.
So i would suggest a wide, but not too high main town. Around 20 high, but from the spring to other spring. Then you can have outer layer too. There you can place kilns, cow pen, stew farm, other food, possibly kiln other side of food production, if you are smithing, just eat highly nutritious portable food.
For the cemetery, that has to be further from city, and that's why is good to have a less high setup, you take out bones, free up space, keep some lines between graves, max 2x2 near each other so each grave can be accessed.
You could have some pine trees planted, close to baby zone, walling them off and providing firewood.
People want creative stuff, but we do the berry field for newbies, so inner circle don't plant your cabbage and stew, you experienced enough to use a mod and see how disturbing it is.
Composting has to be where is needed, not i one place, i spread it out always so each bush has soil close by. Each plant has own compost plot. I saw a good deal of soil plots the other day, near the pen and no one ever put any of it on bushes.
I think you need to adapt to a map, and be creative every time you make a city. At least make a different pen, a different garden, a different berry field.
I think roads should come earlier on the tech, so we could plan out the city.
Fences are annoying, or fence fully or don't fence at all. I would suggest fencing a small 20x40 then plant around with trees, then outer circle fence more and more if you want. One gate enough now as everyone has access, maybe 2, one on top one bottom, if it's less high fence, then won't take so much to go around. But ideally one way springy doors would be the best so people can leave but can't come back without help. This is still double-edged sword so put some airlocks there so a posse can catch a griefer who luckily came in.
But really, most people still give you access so just have one visible gate next to fire and baby zone so people see it.

I was the builder of the southern well. The only property fences back then was the sheep pen. I started to put permanent fencing around that pen, but I see most of it was repurposed for the new structure to the left of it. I had to shlep so far for the materials, well beyond the view here, that I couldn't complete it in my lifetime. The road structure in town is bad. That little connector between the two permanent buildings being the worst as it will infinite loop.
