The latest family population graph

There was a new Eve window opened on Saturday because of the Steam outage.  So this graph starts at about mid-day Saturday:

This is looking better, but notice that by the 24-hour mark we were still down to 3 fams.  Looks like the fourth fam may have died out during the nightly downswing.

The big mystery here is what happened to the Drinkwater fam, who died out almost instantly during peak population.

I just saw 2 eves Emma and Groot alive in the past 2 hours. What gives? Shouldn't the eve window be closed? Were they you?

Edit: nevermind, I was just reminded that low pop servers eves also show up on the list.

Yep, RIP my Whislers, they got to gen 19 before the outage (though it's possible they died right before it).

Looks like they got killed by players from the Freedman family.

Btw this forum badly needs things like multi-quote functionality.
