Lineage/area ban?

Ok, so I might just not have seen it, but how does banning work atm? Is it still an area ban or has it changed to lineage ban? Because I was able to start in a family I just died of old age in yesterday. These are links to the two lives I lived right after the other. (Unfortunately my second life was cut short by someone who apparently just wanted to kill me for the lolz):

If I remember correctly you get banned from a 200 tile radius of where you're born if you die after age 30 or if you're murdered/murder someone. Ban lasts 3 hours or 1.5 hours if you keep playing after that life.

100 radius area ban if you got total 30+ min in a place last time i checked

skip list is lineage based so outposts got slightly less chance to get kids but from the looks of it people don't like out of place tech levels or just the fact that they know the family from elsewhere
