I keep seeing these structures just outside of towns what is it?

In one case the person buiding it was hella suspicious. NO RELATION refused to talk to me. Seemed to be taking things from town, but I couldn't prove it. (I found hidden carts and tools nearby)

I find so much strange stuff just outside of town and I feel like most people never leave.

You really need to look around. Twice I've found swords just laying around in the woods like "hey come stab everyone, Stranger"

I have no idea why it's set up that way, it's not even a useful prison. I guess someone just likes wasting space/resources from the look of it.

Someone has built at least 3 of these things in various towns. I thought maybe it was a car garage? But you still have to wait for the fence gate to be yours... seems annoying and excessive.

i was in that town the other day, helping get our first mine, when we got back the next day we had kerosene and i was smiting, composting and done some latex, no time for rubber

newcommens arent moveable, and they are non destroyable

either a nosaj tower or a car parking slot
but was a tree inside and no door on it, so i can only guess
was a normal tree, cause had butt log, not a mango so even more weird
