Take recently used Eve names off of the valid last name list for 48 h

No more JO MMMDCCXXIV

If you say "I am JO" and it has been used in the last 48 hours you are assigned a name from the list of valid last names that starts with the same letters.

Now that you mentioned the roman letters I searched for Eve Jo and found something peculiar. An Eve Jones LIV (54) existed 16 hours, so I searched for Eve Jones L and found noone but the previously mentioned Eve. How can one become the 54th without the 50th ever existing?

Not sure how robust this roman numeral code is!

As for taking them off the list... maybe that's good.  But I think it would be a little confusing to players if their chosen name doesn't stick.  Maybe it just removes JO from consideration and finds the next-closest match?

So what about players like me that barely eve on main server and mostly eve on low pop servers
like i dont mind being eve groot iv because i just play with myself the occational babies are the ppl i know or random players that wanna eve in their own town. so why would it matter if im eve groot iv in that case

Because it doesn't. The problem is that there are people in the main server who keep on using the same last name, so there's ridiculous amounts of eves with the same name. If jason made it so the game would give you a similar name if the one you chose is already taken, it wouldn't affect people like you who are eve'ing in low pop servers, since, after all, you just play (mostly) by yourself.

if possible, make a popup

you need to name yourself when Eve and then you can go

it would check for validity and offer similar names if taken
if your lineage died out, or you choose not to settle, then the name would be valid upon death
people want to know if their line is alive and if they get back or it'as n outpost or it's a new eve

I think that'd be nice, I seem to see the same family names over and over again regardless of the hundreds long list of potential names. Makes towns feel more samey than they already are sometimes.
