Okay, can someone explain what happened here?

Apparently Andy White got killed by Elizabeth White...but she was only 6. Am I missing something?

Believe you're right, but don't believe you can't be wrong.

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

Re: Okay, can someone explain what happened here?

Yeah, that's what I found odd. Knife is the weapon that can be picked up at the youngest (being 8), so how did a 6 year old kill someone? Could snowballing a starving person really count as a murder (speaking game logic, not philosophically)?

Anyone else have any ideas? Maybe a bug?

Re: Okay, can someone explain what happened here?

My only real guess is something related to the bug where it was linking dead babies to murdering slightly less dead babies. Snowballs don't have the deadly tag anymore so shouldn't be able to trigger a murder even if the other player is starving and no weapon can be picked up by a child of that age.

Though it does seem like she actually did something to him considering his last words are Ass and hers are F. I haven't a clue off the top of my head what she could have used at that age to trigger a wound.

fug it’s Tarr.

i seen bugs with bow, like one could be picked up at 9 and the other at 6, also a kid with knife in hand, not sure how it allowed,  but it was long ago
also if a kid that age stabs you will likely starve with no fire, but no one would ever suspect her

Re: Okay, can someone explain what happened here?

Snowballs still cause 'murdered' if the person starves under effect.
Source: (unfortunately only, no lineage because I forgot who I was) Me
Snowballed my babies for a bit of fun one time, but despite feeding them regularly they managed to starve while under effect of snowballed (i'm sure I fed them..)
in the family tree later I see I "killed" my babies, only having snowballed them.

Re: Okay, can someone explain what happened here?

She snowballed her bro to dead. I know, because I was their mom.

Was out of town to make a backpack, with a cart. Then I got three babies, first Andy and then his sis. She seemed fine till she decided suddenly that snowballing us to death was more fun than going back to town; she tried to kill me too but I dodged it and ate so I didn't starve. Didn't want to stab her, because I'm sometimes laggy and then she had my knife lol.

After they both passed I got another boy, so left the cart and ran home. Found out there that there was another griefer in town- maybe same person?- and that I was the only fertile; but got only two suiciding babies after that. Well, on the good side, turned out my staying son was on his first hour, so I used the rest of my life to teach him berries, compost and sheeps lol.

Re: Okay, can someone explain what happened here?

@ Matbat

Ahhhh, I didn't know that. I was under the same impression as Tarr. Thanks for the info!

@ Luniatji

Well, sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing though. And it wasn't the same person, as she starved at age six. But, at least you got some 1 on 1 time with a newbie.

@ pein

Yeah, I saw that a long time ago as well. Was a girl running around with a bow and arrow at age 5 or 6. Glad it looks like that isn't the case.
