Have you ever looked at lineage for a session you thought you died in and discovered something strange?
Sadly the village was too chaotic to get people to raise them properly. She had 7 kids, though.

AFK is a terrible disease that can strike anyone. Symptoms include not moving, not responding, chewing endlessly. The best support for those with AFK is a popcorn diet, use your own hunger as an indicator when to feed.
There have been cases of remission. Often the patient is disoriented when returning. Mushrooms may also be responsible for this.

I don't see a problem with it. AFK players are just a resource like everything else in this game, right?
Waste not, want not.

If someone has a problem with it, they should just leave or suicide.
AFK daughters won't run off, get bit by animals (as long as you provide an item for their tile, maybe a fire). Maybe bake things or make stew by yourself which you use to feed the girl and you.
I'm glad some in-game ladies stayed to AFK instead of suicide, they sometimes save a lineage.
One time our only woman suicided as she had to leave; we died out because of it, if only she had stayed to AFK.

I did just that yesterday, except it was my braindead mother, raised by my uncle, then I raised all my siblings thereafter.

it's boring not wrong
what i would like is that if a player is not moving for 5 minutes at all, if there is no interaction,
that there is a coma animation, something like falling to lie on the ground, not standing forever with eyes open
or at least that the eyes closed, so that one can immediately recognize an AFK player & treat as wished
some kill them, others feed them

I've taken care of one of my daughters and it's saved a village. I don't see a problem. It's not like you're forcing them to be there. Sometimes life comes up and the kind thing is to stay there instead of accidentally dooming your village because you mom calls or some other emergency comes up. If your family chooses to spend more time to make necessary children, more power to them.

Assuming you have the time and food to do it, then there isn't anything wrong with it. Most people wouldn't bother though.

it's not real life, so it's not morally wrong at all If the person was around trying to play, they'd be there playing. If you are actually having crisis from lack of women, it makes all the sense in the world to keep an AFK mom alive. It's not like you're drugging her then strapping her to a gurney and raping her to get kids, its just an acct logged in without the person there.
I'll tell you what I tell all my children: Make basket, always carry food.
Listen to your mom!
