Yup. You can try it out yourself on the OCS if you like, I've declared it "God day". Just change OHOL/settings/vogModeOn.ini to 1, press capital V in game, and capital I to start spawning stuff. We got some weird things like the phonograph, facial features, wounds, etc to appear. And the freak freaky weird thing that happens when you spawn a player model.

I saw it with my very own eyes. There was a marked and buried grave, on wood floor.. it spoke and accused someone of robbing it. Another person placed a half eaten pie on the grave - the grave immediately disappeared and the pie became a full pie. Of this I swear I tell no lies, although I wasn't smart enough to get a screenshot.

Later on someone left a full basket saying it is a "small price to pay". A few minutes later the town completely forgot about it all and the pies were gone.

This is actually really cool. It is possible for Jason to make some uncraftable items that one can only get through Vogi. Imagine a special crown or idol they can bring back to town and tell stories about. This item can be passed down through generations as a symbol of their ancestors meeting Vogi.

Not to mention it is probably a ton of fun to mess with players, especially if they aren't familiar with VOG mode.

Jason made a little mistake which made it possible for me to play around a bit in VoG-Mode on the main server.
Talking graves/bones/stackofplates confuse a lot of players

I think it was never intended for players on the main server (I could spawn all items/animals) but more as a tool for private servers.

VoG is actually very very useful for being able to test content without having to go through and make it. Obviously some things are quirky when done off main server (think airplane issues) but it allows someone like me to quickly create advanced tech to make sure it's not doing weird shit (rail carts destroying themselves when double clicked lol).

I haven't played with VOG mode, I don't know it's something that can be done while playing normally. But I suspect wasn't it the same player.

I think he does play sometimes, but he plays the way he wants it to work, not the way players optimize things. Perhaps in VOG mode he will see more of what people are actually doing.

Well, as said, you change vogModOn.ini to 1, press shift V in game, shift I and a menu comes up to spawn things. It's still Vog Mode day for short while until I turn it back off.
