I’m not sorry I put sheep dung in the temple. (Long)

I was born into a small village. My mother, Calliopie Root, didn’t even notice me and I was left to fend for myself. My great aunt named me Kenny.

Right before her death, my great great grandmother yelled, “We’re running out of food! We’re gonna die of...”. And then she was gone.

I made it my life’s goal to help my village not starve to death.

As a child I tended the berry bushes. As I got older I helped bake and make tools as a blacksmith...but my calling was sheep and compost.

It was a dirty job no one wanted to do, but I did it, and I did it well. I kept our village’s berry farm healthy and even expanded the farm with carrots and wheat. Providing enough fertile soil for squash and milk weed too.

One day as I was toiling away I notice this one woman not working. Just taking food and clay and going off a little ways from the village. I was curious, so I followed her.

Her name was Rachel. She was building a temple to the ‘Sky God’. She was quite crazy with her ramblings, so I left her and went on my way. .

On one of my runs to and from the farm to the the sheep pen I see Rachel not working. She never works. She’s always rambling, taking food and now wood. It’s on one of those runs that I see what the wood was for.

She had 2 giant fires going outside of the temple, and she’s telling her young daughter to always keep the fires burning. The daughter replies, “For the Sky God” or some other such nonsense.

Now at this point I’m more than a little annoyed. I’ve been working my whole life while this woman does nothing but waste precious wood, all of which she didn’t help gather/cut/transport/stack. She did nothing and wasted resources. All she did was have kids and eat, aside of course from worshiping the Sky God.

Why does she get to sit there and not work, while I have to toil every single day? Was it because she was born a woman and I a man?

So what I did next is not my proudest moment.

Okay, yes it is and it was hilarious. I took some sheep dung and splattered in right in the middle of the temple when no one was looking.

I run away laughing and I hear crazy Rachel say, “Someone has blasphemed the sacred temple!”

I was the only sheep worker, so it wasn’t hard to figure out that I had done it. When she saw me on one of my compost runs she called me a griefer and threatened to kill me. I thought she was just a cooky weirdo, but just in case I made a bow and arrow for protection. I hid my bow, but kept the arrow on me always.

Then back to my sheep pen.

The next thing I know my little sister, Mary, comes at me with a knife. She says I was accused of being a griefer. I run away as she’s stabbing, trying to ask her what I did in between all the stabbing. I told her I did nothing. She eventually believed me and left.

At this point I’m mad. I’ve worked my whole life and for what? I didn’t even get a trial and people are believing this crazy woman over me? So I grab my bow and go confront her at the sheep dung temple.

She is afraid and knows I’m out for blood. She runs into the temple and I go after her. Mary comes back and watches in horror as I draw back my bow and aim it right at crazy lady’s daughter. The cycle had to stop, even if it meant me killing and dying too. I let the arrow fly. She’s dead pretty quickly.

Mary doesn’t hesitate and stabs me. She tells me that she hopes I enjoy Donkey Town, but not before I curse Rachel and explain that I was accused and for nothing. It didn’t matter. I was dead within minutes, my dying words “ She accused me...” floating off into the wind my reasons of murder never to be heard.

Did I deserve to die? Yes.

Cursed? Yes.

But so did Rachel and I cursed her as I lay there dying.

She lived on to old age and had a few more children I think. I hope she smelt that sheep dung until the day she died. My only regret is that I didn’t kill her instead, to save the village from having to support her wastefulness and laziness.

Good job, I also dislike cult roleplay. Sad that the town considered that a murderable offence. If I was there I would've tried to heal you.

I probably also would've turned that dung into a compost, inside the temple of course.

I think that the mother was wrong for killing you for putting dung in the temple, but the child was not, other than wasting wood.

I was Mary. I'd been working and knew nothing of the temple, or what was going on, and one day the elderly sponge and her two children approached me and told me you were a griefer, trying to kill off the lineage. I was the only one with a knife, as far as I knew, so I knew I had to do something.

I almost stabbed you a couple times, but you were fast and dodged me swiftly. I noticed you weren't fighting back, and we sort of stared each other down for a while. Figured you were indeed innocent, as you weren't shooting anyone, and so I put my knife back before I began to starve and ran for food. The second I left, I heard the familiar "murder scream" and before I could eat, ran back over and stabbed you.

It looked really suspicious, but I admit, I didn't know the backstory. Sorry, bud. I wish I knew what was really going on.

I was fine last night after this, but I think Rachel got her discord friends to curse me. I played a perfectly good life after that but today I log in and I am in Donkey Town. Perhaps it was deserved, I did kill an innocent. Oh well, time to practice my skills and learn how to cook pork tacos.

No thanks. I played a full life in donkey town and now I’m out. Not worth the risk of a permanent ban for something I did to myself.

What made it more funny was Rachel yelling, “Someone has desecrated the temple!” Hahahaha! Fun times.

I don’t role play, but I will talk to my ma or gma and what not. I don’t mind people who do, but come on Rachel. We need to survive first you free-loader.

It was so worth my time in exile!
