yeah i messing with ya, or am i?
i was checking update on onetech and missed out on the part of donkeytown, i tought is a town as well
and it was morning, after work and pretty bad fatigue this week (in between my holiday weeks had to work 4 days)
the curse wears off and people will start kill you again to get back to Walhalla
where they meet fellow fighters, and have nice conversations about hiding, teleporting bloody weapons, guerilla tactics, creating drama and distraction, the teaching lessons are endless, then the fellow players change contacts and plan the next coordinated attacks
actually i had my best eve run yet, the two babies came right away and really had to juggle in an onion biome, my pattern recognition told me i got to run NW, so i did, my boi got older so couldnt feed him, so i took my grill and carried her with me, after a huge desert i found a green biome and a swamp, the desert had a C shape around it, and i chose a pond next to desert, and several other ponds south. we thought son is ded, but he turned up following the direction, told me to go south but i shown him the place. all 3 of us focused on the next thing, i didnt had to do alone like usually, we had barely 3 bushes in biome, they made tools, i tought as an adult, best is to get clay and adobe from swamp. by the time i made the kiln they got the tools and firewood, all i told is make 2 tongs and plant on desert. we made 2 sets of clay stuff, and then i sadly disconnected, born back as a boi in a few minutes, then i suicided so we keep it going, born back as a grill again, then they died of old age. we had basic tools and 9 bushes, and we were mostly talking not rushing stuff. the place is okay, with the flat rocks a road can be made into another green biome and some iron vein. Its not so many cursed people same time so im not sure on how it will work, a bell would be nice and a capital city.
what we left behind is nice for any eve, even if its not so skilled on town building
but to get cursed you need to know what it hurts the most so im pretty sure the average black text guys are familiar with normal gameplay too, just too bored of it, but with fellow cursed people and no noobs to mess around, small family, donkey valley can be even better than normie noobcamps
you might be good player, you are not pro if you cannot kill, even if you are a fast clicking machine with all the recipes in your head, the lack of the ability to defend yourself or others makes you a victim or a below average town leader
also all the people who only kill killers, and people on slowdown or the case with cursed babies, on equal chances this people will get massacred
there was an increase in 'pro players' after the 'how to kill' guide, cause some people got better skills in pvp, and they can stand a chance vs pro stabbers now and understood the mind games behind the lies, the framing and the righteous kills, cause 'killing is bad, kill the killers' mentality is purely wrong
all in all, its a temporary separation and if people want to return to big communities, a vacation to donkey valley wont hurt their mental peace, you can take it as a punishment, but its just a timeout before they return smarter, sneakier and maybe with more connections

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

I honestly see no point trying to become more vicious towards the "other" players. We are all gamers and players of OHOL so bickering and fighting over things like kids is just stupid, we all want good game experiences and we shouldn't mess others' just because 'our fun demands that'. Ofc people still do this so others deserve to have vacations off of the people who ruin their fun, griefers for majority and annoying noobs to you, I guess?
I also believe that most griefers are bored veterans who know how to cause the most damage in places, so you guys scheming over stuff and making connections is nothing new. I am just happy the players can separate to give breathers to both sides.

+1 Everyone gets a vacation.

i seen quite many noob griefers, and i dont think they got any other quality than bad intention
generally guy who gets to adulthood and tries to shoot you or someone with a bow he found, when misses, acts all innocent
then there is the opposite overly sensitive player who thinks that can talk it out or just gives up and annoys himself
and a lot of people who bottle up feelings, the girl who hates you cause you swap a sheep skin to take her inherited apron, and tries to kill you 40 years later
there are skills which might improve with experience: eating, scouting, high tier jobs like forging, shepherd
there are people who know some jobs but cant survive if not taken care of
there are who can survive 60 years but do nothing at all
scouting comes with survival i guess, also when you know that what is an adze and what is a tortilla station you know where you are in the city
you only remember the good ones

Noob griefers learn quickly so I still don't see it as a big deal if they communicate, they will anyways, maybe through reddit, I'd imagine that'd be the place. I rather have their griefing paused by Donkey Town so others can play without them for awhile even if Donkey Town has them communicating (as they still can find their channels to communicate easily with or without the Town). I've seen like one real noob griefer in my time of playing.
So you want to have revenge because of these kinds of people? What does a spiral of "I'll get my revenge" achieve? I guess some level of personal satisfaction, briefly, but that's not worth my time, personally. I've seen people who don't contribute, people who do sexist roleplay (the feminazi stuff), people who just walk to you and kill you, people who sit at a berry bush and die at the first famine, people who take others' stuff; all sorts of people who benefit from a better player's work. But I let that go, I know not everyone is like that. I play for my fun and in the process I hope my work benefits the next players who do their best to work and develop things towards better. Some work is ungrateful, some lives are ungrateful, people can act hastily and sometimes you get the worst of it. But thank goodness there are other lives after that. Or, if OHOL is starting to burn your nerves, other amazing games.
